Nuggetty. The purpose of this thread is to document progress of the leagues once the head to head matches start which is next week. I'll be doing write ups for Hogg Premier, Hogg Division I and Hogg Division II. We don't have a 'writer' for Hogg Division III however.

HOGG DIV I ImageImageImageImage

SAFooty posters in bold.

Top 4

1. Darcy DTF 4496 (Best in the Hogg)
2. Q Before You 4223
3. Squeakeroos_DTF 4052
4. Leisa's Lovelies 4025

Bottom 4

Squeakeroos_DTF vs Mighty Crows
WYCBLOODS vs darcy DTF
The Fenders vs Maria Sharapova
Punk Roosters vs Dutchys Dodos
Manbaggers vs smac
BensGorillas vs CoverKing

Darcy and the Q Man would not be out of place in the Premier League but it drops away pretty quickly. The bottom four look rank but early days. Got no idea who the Supres are!

HOGG DIVISION II ImageImageImage

SAFooty posters in bold.

Top 4

1. FOOTYLEDGENS* 4179
2. Hondos Hard Nuts 4170
3. REBCats* 4131
4. Leisas Lovelies* 4025

5th - holland's heros 3915

Bottom 4

13. FNQ Trotters 3136
14. Powerfools 3126
15. Baz Bulldog 2419
16. Alex the Kidd 0 (Worst in the Hogg)

Round 1 Fixture

REBCats vs FOOTY LEDGENS
Leisa's Lovelies vs The Ginger Ninjas
Buddys Dealer DTF vs Brendamage
Powerfools vs cobra's
Jacks Stars vs Alex The Kidd
Hondo's Hard Nuts vs The Willies
FNQ Trotters vs Bazbulldog
holland's heros vs The Underdogs

This is our 'family league' so no real chance of being demoted. Even my lad Alex is safe despite his consistency. The Hard Nuts and the Heros have a fairly easy passage into Hogg Div I next year as all of those teams with the * cannot be promoted.

I've got a tough first-up clash with your missus REB, she outscored me this week too even though I posted my highest score of the three rounds.

Yep she's got a good side. I helped her set it up but she hasn't even looked at it for the last two weeks. Her backline is better than mine DOH. She got a donut for Hentschell last week so she might make a trade there.

Young Darcy is pretty sure of himself isn't he?

Just makes me wanna win even more. He has set himself up really well though, injuries can only set him back from here and the rest of us may need to work a little magic with our trades.

Just a question, will a rookie's (or any player for that matter) value steadily increase as they play more games even if they are only maintaining their average score?

For instance, say Daniel Rich never scores above his current average again, but because he is consistently scoring close to it, will his value still increase as games go by?

It's pretty quiet on the Hogg Division III front.

I must say I prefer Super Coach to Dream Team.

As I understand it, the value = average score (last 3 rounds) x something like $5500

...... but they divide any increment (likely end value - current value) by 3 and add it over 3 rounds. (Or decrease it as I have found with Hodge :( )

so if Rich keeps his average score going he will increase by about $100K each week for next 2 and then it will level off/go up and down based on his prev 3 weeks' scores

---------
On scores - most of my guns fired this round so I managed 2,415. Other than Raines and Hurley I've been pretty lucky on the injury/suspension front. Still got both of them on my bench.
In between signatures .....

The fixtures for Div II have changed since I last looked...and since you posted REB

The Willies now open against FNQ Trotters (rather than the runaway leader Hondo) ???

Im not complaining..Im still aiming to get 22 scoring players on the park (at least I cracked 2000)

Get the hard one out of the way mate. I'm in a few leagues with him in it and he's top in every one. But it's how well you are travelling in August that counts.
