Last week I lost to Mrs REB 2107 - 2237

This week with no trading and with a donut for Ablett I score 2254 (thanks Buddy) and Mrs REB scores 1757

Why couldn't Jimmy Bartel pull a shocker last week!!!!

Timing  ;) However, I have to thank son-of-REB for knocking off Holland's Heroes. With good % that might have stitched up my spot in the top 4 even if I drop one more game.

With no Ablett and Cats scores all down generally (except Chappy LOL) and with Adcock going down in the first quarter my score was 300 down on my season's average. VERY lucky to walk away with a 15 point victory thanks ironically to Buddy! PHEW

With all hell breaking loose in fantasy land this week the big loser in Hogg Premier was dunKsKrew who got upset by Hawkeye and now finds himself out of the top eight. FOOTYLEDGENS have won their way into the top half of the table after winning 7 of thier last 9 matches after they cleaned up the chardonnays who have now slipped to third on the ladder. Top side GordonBlues also got rolled by Black Magic SCE who remains in the hunt for a top four spot with three weeks to go. The top eight is not yet settled with dunKsKrew still to play FOOTYLEDGENS in what could be a cut throat pre-elimination final. At this stage the relegation zone appears to be settled with the bottom four sides set to duke it out in Round 19 of the AFL season for the right to stay in Hogg Premier League next season. For wonder elephants, who were top four last year it has been a remarkable fall from grace. In this week's games the chardonnays take on REBCats in the match of the round and Hawkeye must defeat Mr Football to keep his slim finals chances alive.

darcy DTF vs Punk Roosters

As predicted last week WYCBLOODS was the big mover of the round catching up on his rivals for a top eight spot after he cleaned up the woeful Punk Roosters. The top four sides were all unconvincing in victory with Ben's Gorillas and Dutchy's Dodos particularly unlucky to get rolled. Due to the dominance of the top sides and the overall crudiness of those at the bottom, the final eight for Hogg Division I is wide open. Leisa's Lovelies with eight wins look safe but CoverKing, Bens Gorillas, Manbaggers, WYCBLOODS and Dutchy's Dodos are all fighting it out for the last two spots in the eight. Once again the team with most to gain is WYCBLOODS who take on Dutchys Dodos. If the Dodos can secure victory this weekend they'll be right back in the hunt. A strange side is the Dodos. When they scored bugger all they won matches and now that they are scoring well they are dropping games. He's got three games left has Dutchy to claim a spot in the eight that he is probably entitled too but Bloods will have other ideas.

You can shut the door on the top eight of this league. The sides currently in the top eight will contest the finals in Hogg Division II after FNQ Trotters fell two games plus percentage off the pace with three games to play. This means that there are five sides who are in line to be promoted at the end of the season. The big result for this round was the win by FOOTYLEDGENS over holland's heros who now faces new ladder leader REBCats in his battle to hold off the cobra's from taking his top four spot which looked his to lose earlier on in the season. The Underdogs also lived up to their name with a battling win over Leisa's Lovelies who lost only their second match of the season and she has now fallen to second spot with a one game lead over Hondo. The focus in this league for the last three weeks will be who can make the top four.

You brought Didak in REB? He's gunning it recently so that's a good call. Did you turf Rioli?

Get your glasses checked Mr Incredible. 8) Ditched Pav and Cox and brought in Didak and Hudson. So I upgraded Pavlich and I retained a decent back up ruckman. For the finals I'll piss off Adcock for another premium defender and hopefully watch the Hogg roll in. To say I'm due for a change of luck regarding injuries is an understatement.

My team for this week (donuts highlighted in red):

B: Newman, Gilbert, Gilbee
HB: Hurn, Mackie, Hodge
C: Rich, Selwood, K Cornes
HF: S Johnson, Pavlich, J Brown
F: Rioli, Didak, T Cloke
R: McIntosh, Judd, Goodes
I/C: Broughton, L Anthony, Cox, Walker

EMG: S Hill, Dangerfield

I really thought my donut woes would have eased by now, but this horror run seems to be never-ending. Lucky I have cover for Bartel, punting on Anthony to score better than Dangerfield. I've got no idea who I will make captain for this week. I'll post a sub-2000 score for the fourth week in a row, but my opponent won't be so kind this time, and I can pencil this one in as a loss.

The Cobra's lost in div 2 so my top 4 spot looks pretty safe now. I scored 2363 with a donut for Cox so now wondering if I should wait it out with Cox and save the trade in case he's back for finals.

Save the trade to get back on the Luke Hodge bandwagon! :-?

I did get him this week but he had Black as captain, and unfortunately for him Davenport as a emergency who didn't play and he got 168  .

Time to start swinging the axe, get rid of the dead wood, load up on guns and put an end to an average scoring streak.
