I noticed that. Come up against a side this week with 3 Geelong players, and a side next week with 3 Carlton players. My plan to gear my team for finals is falling into place nicely. ;)

REB where did you come across Darksiders? The "SCE" is tag for 32 teams called the "super coach elites" from Big Footy's Super Coach board. The number 1 ranked team "Impromptu SCE" is also a member. He also has Scotland and Gibbs in defence.

I reckon he has enough trades to trade out all three and still have two left for the GF.

I 'met' Darksiders on the AFL Online board. Many of the better coaches in the Hogg have been AFL Online posters. This year though there have been some excellent coaches coming from this site. Despite his lofty rating in the SC world, Darksiders and the various names they have gone by have won one flag from three attempts in the past and only won by two points last week. They have also won quite a number of matches by a small margin this year as well so they are beatable, SCE or not. It could also be to our advantage if he is having to fight off Tiger Sharks in an elite league...the Hogg is probably not his top priority. Yep, he's number one...but he's not Premier yet.

You should be barracking for me CoverKing this weekend. I reckon Squeaky will own you but if I sneak by Squeaky that would be a soft Prelim for your boys. My team is horseshit. 8)

Do you know this for sure? It's tough to rank 198 and have that many trades left still. I was assuming he had one or none left, especially given the strength of his team.

Here's hoping (for one of us at least Hondo!) that he's blown his load gunning for a high overall score.

How? WTF? haha

I have been out of trades for 3-4 weeks and go through to the Prelim. If i somehow win this it will be the biggest escape since Geelong won the 2007 flag

Dambit ... for the second week in a row a midfield premium lets me down in a league final. Last week I had 66 from Hodge now I have 69 from Judd :(

It's an uphill run from here for me to keep up with Gingernuts.

Puopolo's 55 could hurt me though. Plenty of water to go under the bridge yet!

Damn Petrie stunk it up with 36 while Ginger copped the unlucky break with Pavlich's injury and Broughton had a poor game. Cloke went great for Ginger with 131.

So it's down to this:

(me / Ginger + 9 points)

Maloney v Griffin
McEvoy v Boyd
O'Keefe v Boak
N Riewoldt v J Riewoldt

too close to call!
