MacGill Cup Division II round 15 results
Guns 2038 def. units 1837
Beens 2315 def. Hawkers 2055
biatches 2227 def. Cants 1960
Leni 2186 def. JTR 2075
Willies 2128 def. wyc 1972
Hills 2278 def. SPP 2017
champs 2214 def. Sheds 1950
CFC 2146 def. Kramerica 2086
Spit 1962 def. Hooligans 1642

TABLE & RUN HOME
Has Been 109.43 (48) Guns, JTR
No Spit 105.37 (44) CFC, Hills
Greedy Guns 104..45 (44) Beens, bitaches
wycmehal 102.69 (40) Sheds, Hooligans
Buddys biatches 100.11 (36) units, Guns
Some Cant 103.58 (32) Willies, Sheds
Sunny Palm Pilots 101.60 (32) Leni, Hawkers
champs 101.60 (32) Hooligans, CFC

Chelsea FC 101.22 (32) Spit, champs
Hokkaido Hills 101.03 (32) Kramerica, Spit
The Willies 99.35 (28) cant, units
Hawkers 99.33 (24) JTR, SPP
Kramerica 98.71 (24) Hills, Leni
Jim's TigerRoos 97.89 (24) Hawkers, Beens
The Glory Shed 96.88 (20) wyc, Cants
DJ Leni 95.03 (16) SPP, Kramerica
Raging Hooligans 92.83 (16) champs, wyc
G units 89.32 (16) biatches, Willies

A fair kick in the cranberries for Hawkers, Kramerica & JTR after posting high 2000's but coming off 2nd best and subsequently ending their quest for a top 8 finish, CFC also copped a dose of stiff shit aswell after winning by 60 points and dropping out of the 8 thanks to champs recording a 264 point win.

Buddy and his biatches gave themselves every chance of finals security with an upset win over the Cants, will 9 wins be enough for finals action though, plenty more twists to unfold yet I think.

Has Been: One more win to secure minor premiership, can't finish lower than 3rd.
No Spit: Can still jag top spot with favourable results, should finish in the top 4.
Greedy Guns: Same as No Spit, has two very tough games ahead though.
wycmehal: Huge chance to finish 2nd, need to win last two games, can finish 5th in worst case scenario.
Buddys biatches: Should win at least one more match, percentage is a worry though, can finish anywhere between 4th and 10th.
Some Cant: Can finish anywhere between 5th and 10th, huge game for them this week. against a desperate Willie outift.
Sunny Palm Pilots: Losing to the impressive Hills would not of been on the cards for the Pilots, time to regroup against the improving Leni team and then face the dangerous Hawkers in the last round. Must wins.
champs: Enjoying a hot streak with some very impressive scores, Hooligans this week and then perhaps a shoot-out against CFC in the last round for possibly a finals spot.
Chelsea FC: Stiff to get pushed out of the 8 this week after a win, up against the highly fancied No Spit this week to keep their finals aspirations alive.
Hokkaido Hills: The Hills are alive with the sound of finals, an ultra-impressive win over the inform Pilots and face Kramerica this week to maybe enter the top 8.
The Willies: After defeating 4th placed wyc they would of found some hope, a win this week against the Cants will keep them in touch with the 8.

Hawkers, Kramerica and JTR can still mathematically make the 8, they have to not drop another game and rely heavily on all results to go their way.

Good Luck All.

Longwood Lions (2114) def Brodlach Bombers (2049)
Honey Badgers (2127) def TEDS (1993)
The Bloods (1950) def Hollands Heroes (1892)
Robsquad (2019) def Money Brawl (1910)
OWW (2088) def Wonder Elephants (1924)
Red Cans (2131) def Cossi's Carnts (1945)
Strawberries (1524) def Emu Farmers (1320)
Ankles United (1847) def Finger Banging (1812)
Tigermad (1888) def Kiss My Asp (1491)

Some good scores coming out at the business end of the season now, 6 scores plus 2000, five others over 1900. Even the bottom of the table Strawb (1524) and Emu Farmers (1320) put on a comparatively high scoring encounter, and Kiss My Asp (1491) was behind the improving Strawb on points.
How the mighty have fallen, the previously unbeatable TEDS have become nearly the pretenders of the competition, forgetting that tanking in this comp doesn't get you very far. Red Cans (2131) narrowly edged out Honey Badgers (2127) for the high score of the round, those two performers firmly double chance favourites now.
Match of the round was a surprise, Ankles United keeping their finals hopes alive with a 35 point win over my useless mob of wankers. That's nine on the trot I've lost!

The top seven (OWW, TEDS, Red Cans, Honey Badgers, Cossi's, Tigermad and Longwood Lions) are virtually assured of finals now, it would take two shocking losses for Longwood to drop out, and the others are certs. Brodlach sits at number 8, one win clear of the 9th and 10th. Should Longwood and Brodlach lose their next two, Ankles and The Bloods are the two that could fight it out to get in there.

On the other end, RobSquad's late surge was too little too late, they've about peaked on the ladder, whilst Wonder Elephants and Money Brawl have recorded a credible six wins. Hollands Heroes (5), Kiss My Asp (4 and a draw) and Finger Banging (4), were disappointing, and Strawberries (1 win) and Emu Farmers (winless), will be looking for marked improvement in Div II 2013, or they will again be at the arse end of the ladder.

Round 18 fixture:
Honey Badgers v Longwood Lions- Week after week I have counted Longwood out, and he is there, 10 wins, and a likely finals starter, but he does clash with Honey Badgers this week, on the same number of points, but fourth via percentage. I've got your back this week Longy, and I'll tip ya.

Brodlach Bombers v The Bloods- An oft used term in football rhetoric, but this is a must win game for The Bloods, or they are out of finals contention altogether. Both 4-1 in their last five, Brodlach only one win more all season, but like the 2011 Crows, I am backing him to scrap and scrape his way through in a low scorer to sink Bloods finals aspirations.

TEDS v RobSquad- Conceivably TEDS can finish third after this encounter, should Rob Squad win. TEDS have been on a slippery slope, and Rob Squad has been consistently been playing the role of the spoiler in the last few weeks. I am backing him to grab his biggest scalp, and embarrass the failing fantasy guru.

Hollands Heroes v OWW- Straight forward, OWW consolidates their top spot here.

Money Brawl v Red Cans- Stats say Red Cans get up, but Money Brawl has been the other spoiler in this comp, and if anyone will plant one on the chin of the Red Cans just out from finals, it is the Brawlers.

Wonder Elephants v Emu Farmers- Wonder Elephants, even sitting twelfth, are light years ahead of the Farmers. Biggest blow out of the round here.

Cossi's Carnts v Ankles United- Cossi wins, despite strong form from the Ankly ones.

Strawberries v Kiss My Asp- Strawb scored more than Asp last start, and he might just snake two in a row here to end the season solidly.

Finger Banging v Tigermad- Tigermad gets up, I lose 11 in a row, Tiger's %age pushing him up nearly as high as fourth.

Not much is likely to change in the scheme of things this round, just a few places shored up.

THE WASH-UP
Has Been: The form team of the competition need to get absolutely belted by JTR to lose any chance of top spot, could be a close game though.
No Spit: A gritty 58 point win over CFC pretty much ended their finals quest, a home qualifying final is pretty much gauranteed.
Greedy Guns: Took it up to the Beens and have a tough match this week, a top 4 finish though regardless.
wycmehal: Another solid win to secure a top 4 finish.
Buddy's bitaches: Highly unlikely to snare a top 4 finish due to percentage, can't get knocked out of the 8 though.
Some Cant: A win against the sheds will be enough to keep them in the 8, could finish 5th if the Guns beat the biatches.
champs: Flying home, need to lose by a huge margin against CFC to drop out of the 8.
Hokkaido Hills: Found some form at the perfect time, a tough ask thought to knock off No Spit to stay in the 8, if SPP & CFC lose they will keep their spot.
Sunny Palm Pilots: Need a win against Hawkers to have any hope of making the finals, need the Hills to lose aswell or all bets are off.
Chelsea FC: Need to win by a fair margin against champs to make the 8, need the Hills to lose and need SPP to lose or win by a minimal margin, pretty much season over.

No one else can make the finals. Great work by JTR and DJ Leni to get the 2 highest scores of the round.
