MacGill Cup Division II
Guns 2108 def. Cant 1999
Hawkers 1912 def. Leni 1882
wycmehal 2138 def. units 1736
Been 2414 def. Hills 2095

Spit 2220 def. Willies 1939
SPP 1918 def. Hooligans 1592
Kramerica 2067 def. Sheds 1997

The top 4 have now built a 2 game buffer on the rest of the comp as they all recorded another handy win with Has Been managing to smash it again with back to back 2400's.
With one win separating 5th & 13th wins for the middle 9 teams have become more like 8 pointers, especially when they are against teams vying for a top 8 spot, champs kept their chances alive with a solid win over the biatches who have done enough to remain in the 8, the Pilots scored some much needed percentage despite only scoring 1918, Chelsea FC had a come from behind win over Jim and his TigerRoos to stay in the 8 aswell.
The Hills are alive still after facing the devastating top side along with the Hawkers who held off an improved DJ Leni outfit to sit just outsidfe the 8, The Willies remain in striking distance aswell despite the boys from No Spit land inflicting some pain.

PREMIERSHIP TABLE
Has Been 108 (40)
wycmehal 104 (40)

Greedy Guns 104 (36)
Some Cant 102 (28)

Kramerica 98 (20)
The Glory Shed 98 (20)
Raging Hooligans 94 (16)
G units 91 (16)
DJ Leni 96 (12)

ROUND 14
Hawkers vs Greedy Guns
Some Cant vs G units
DJ Leni vs Has Been
wycmehal vs Buddys biatches
Hokkaido Hills vs Jim's TigerRoos
champs vs The Willies
Chelsea FC vs Sunny Palm Pilots
No Spit vs The Glory Shed
Raging Hooligans vs Kramerica

Round 14 appears to be an absolute hum-dinger, the biatches take on 2nd placed wyc in a must win to remain in the 8, 6th placed SPP take on 7th placed CFC which will give one team a bit of breathing space and the other a look from the outside, the Hills (10th) take on 13th placed JTR for a chance for either team to sneak into the 8 along with the 11th placed champs taking on the 12th placed Willies. Hawkers also face the mammoth task of knocking off the 4th placed Guns to pop their head into the 8.
Kramerica can keep their faint finals chances alive by defeating the 16th placed Hooligans where The Sheds must defeat the highly fancied No Spit to remain in the hunt.

That is going to take some beating, plenty of coverage everywhere and the little Roughead/Pattison shimmy is pretty handy should Giles become injured. The only way I can see him being knocked off is if Cox is a late withdrawal, that's where I think there should be an emg for each line.

This is as close as i get to it... I think my fwd line is underdone compared to this one but we will both add D.Martin to that and then Zorko will take Gibsons place in the midfield. I am not game enough to upgrade Zorko given the scores he pumps out!

When he gets a full team on the park who will be sitting on his bench in defence? Heppell, Lake, Birchall or Adcock?

Zorko's gotta be a starter mate. Yeah, he has extra coverage in defence which is scary, depends on trades and cash on hand. I'm a bit light on in the forwards and thinking fiercely about upgrading Kreuzer to Maric, I have a feeling he'll come good now though with no Hampster and Warnock travelling poorly.
How does Thompson go for you? Is Brown up and down?

Yeh i agree Zorko is a starter, my dilemma is whether or not he is in front of a Rockliff or a Judd as i could basically straight swap him for them. His numbers suggest he isnt so my fully fit team will look like this:

DEF
B.Deledio
G.Broughton
B.Goddard
A.Carrazzo
J.Adcock
C.Enright
D.Heppell
S.Shaw
S.Darley

MID
J.Watson
S.Thompson
G.Ablett
S.Mitchell
L.Hayes
D.Zorko
S.Gibson
C.Smith

RUCK
D.Cox
J.Giles
J.Redden
J.Hall

FWD
L.Franklin
M.Pavlich
P.Chapman
P.Dangerfield
D.Martin
T.Cloke
J.Brown
A.Treloar
T.Couch

So Zorko takes my last position in the midfield when it could easily be another proven premium. There really isn't any room for him anywhere else.

Bit of discussion on the Has Been's above. I can tell you I've got 4 trades left and $114,500 in the bank. I came 39th for week last week and have jumped from 2,579 to 179 overall in the last four weeks. Think the 860 odd points to the no 1 team is probably too far away but I'm tempted to keep trading and go for it anyway. Giles is my concern and I could go up to anyone bar Maric with the cash I've got.

Not sure who I'm going to bench in the backline when Goddard gets back but Carrazo was too cheap to pass up last week vs leaving Ellis on field.

Goodes is tempting this week too!

If you're going to trade out Giles, Mumford or Cox should come in.

Stuff getting Mumford, he's a tampon player. Get on Cox. You must have a fair line up to be that high.

Franklin to Goodes will probably be the most common trade amongst dreamteamers this week, Giles is a fair concern, he's sitting on my pine atm after him & Kreuzer have been rotating off it during the season.

I wouldn't mind seeing TED's team aswell, I was quietly confident on the weekend after posting 2263 only to see that he scored 2310.
