Well done FISH, but I hope to bring down the curtains on your season this weekend.

Thanks Baron may the best team win! You will be going in as favourite but, as you know, anything can happen in finals!

Division V Finals Week One

Qualifying Finals
(Winners to Preliminary Final, Losers to play against Elimination Final winners)

1. OMG I got RKO’d vs. 4. whufc
2. Loathsome vs. Delicious

The hammers have had a solid season but will come up short against OMG here. OMG has been better than solid and while I don’t think they are a walk up start for the Division V flag I don’t think they’ll be stopped in this match. Delicious had been travelling well earlier in the season but a loss to the out of form Straycat Strut has me questioning their credentials. Loathsome has a very strong side and they’ll earn the week off.

Elimination Finals
(Winners to play against losers of Qualifying Finals, Losers OUT)

5. Baron Greenbacks vs. 8 TEAM_FISH
6. Toomenny Beers vs. 7. Straycat Strut

The loss of Sandilands cannot be covered by the Baron and TEAM_FISH has made the move to replace the giant Docker. Advantage FISH. Normally I’d be on the Baron here but going into the finals with no trades is not a good look so I’m selecting that the FISH will be swimming upstream for another week at least. The Strutties are in a similar boat to the Baron and will also meet their demise at the hands of Toomenny Beers.

Interestingly OMG musn't have any trades left as his going in with 2 Donuts. Ill be going in with 1 donut if Stanley doesn't play for the Saints.

Could be an interesting match up.

I have Goodard as captain while OMG has GABlett.

Start of the last quarter and OMG has kicked 3 out of the 4 goals with Murphy and Carazzo, he is still going to be incredibly hard for my side to beat.

Finals Week One

Qualifying Finals

OMG 1994 d. whufc 1872
Loathsome 2158 d. Delicious 2120

Loathsome appears the big winner here after outscoring not only Delicious but OMG and the hammers as well. OMG gets the week off in unconvincing fashion and the hammers could be vulnerable in next week's Semi Final.

Elimination Finals

TEAM_FISH 1883 d. Baron Greenbacks 1874
Toomenny Beers 2143 d. Straycat Strut 2029

It's all over for the Baron and my Strutties in Divison V this year with the Greenbacks being particularly unlucky to lose by a mere nine points. Toomenny Beers scored well and looks the bigger threat to go on with it next week while FISH scrapes by for another week.

Goodbye cruel world *sob*
