I took a risk, went Murphy as Captain (instead of GAJ). It's going to make or break me this week.

I noticed that about Murphy. Interesting move, hopefully backfires but I doubt it!

Cotchin tore it up but only scored 115. If he kicked straight he could of had 160+

I reckon Q has also beaten me already in the Lobster.

Not only did he have a million trades left, he had enough cash to trade
Lake-Waters and Selwood-Murphy (almost $200K!)

What's the secret code to access unlimited cash and trades, Q?

How/why did you let Zorko through to the keeper?

I can't talk though as I missed Treloar ... and the finals altogether.

Q Man has come back from losing his first final to make it to the Hogg Premier League Grand Final in a rematch with the victorious Captain who held his nerve to salute by a mere 15 points over an unlucky MILLERS MOSQUITOES outfits in their Preliminary Finals this weekend. Don't Drop Catches was decimated by the late withdrawals and they were nobbled for the second year in a row at the Prelimary Final which means no Grand Final and no Hogg Champions League invite either. MILLERS impressive first year as a Hogg Premier Coach came to an unlucky end with a 15 point loss representing four decent kicks.

This means that for the first time in Hogg history we have to safooty.net posters playing off for Hogg Shield Glory as Groover and Q do battle next weekend. Congratulations boys I reckon it's going to be a beauty.

For the record, the two highest scoring coaches in Division I, Longwood Lions and The Spuds have won through to the Premier League next year so if you thought this year's comp was hard, wait until you see next year's line up. So Groover, Q...win this one while you can!

Well done Groover and Q

Q got away with no Zorko and I suspect he has trade(s) left

You have both run a very smart league campaign here

My stategy has worked out very well, I attacked the byes to gain some wins and %, then when I had to make a decision to compete for a top 4 chance I decided to take it (at the expense of trades for later in the year). That decision has proved to be a vital one as I would of been knocked out in the semis with a sub par performance that week.
Hopefully with a little more luck this week I can field a strong team and bring home the Shield!
