If I win my last 2 & other results go my way I could sneek into the 8

Just looking at the match up, you should brain me this week

I'm not so sure, its going to be tight i reckon

My only slim hope now is for Redden to get a late call up so you don't get Giles' 112

Hang on he does. My decision to gamble by taking the C off Gaz and put it on Pendles has cost me the game, not to mention 3 donuts from Franklin, Sidebum and Ryder. A must win for the Crabs next week to secure a finals berth.

Postby White Line Fever » Sun Jul 29, 2012 8:48 pm

Sup lads posting from poolside in koh samui ;)

Been difficult to keep on top of super coach while away and consequently picked up a donut this week with Jacobs in ruck dammit

Still 2400+ but with the huge scores this week it would be par.

Good score reb!!!!

Nice one WLF have a Pina Colada for me. It's 9 degrees and wet here in Adelaide.

Looks like you've got third spot and I'm still hanging by a thread to fourth only because Crabby and The Jams stumbled like I did. #:-s

Six teams are fighting it out for three spots in the Division III finals this year after Willies dropped out of the eight and THE BLOODS snuck in. The Backyarders and suprisingly BlueOwlOde remained in the hunt with great victories over more fancied opposition. Crabby's loss to Backyarders means that he will be looking at displacing FISH from the top four afte WLF scored well again to shore up a top four spot.

The Sunny Palm Pilots have been doing everything right in recent weeks and after another good score they now have the percentage to survive any last round wobbles. Trader's season of ill fortune continued on when he defeated top eight ranked Willies by a hundred points but found themselves out of the finals race as the price of admission rose by one win. Pump up ze jams has gone off the boil a bit in recent weeks and they suffered an unexpected defeat to Lodgelads who are desperatrely trying to fight off relegation. Hmmm...looks like he had a look at his team this week boys.

The Killer Wombats! finally went underground and FridayKnightFool are now under the line with one match to play. The Goonies won't escape relegation now after Bazza failed to play with himself and presented a sacrificial offering that was gleefully excepted by The Cat Empire. Hollands and Giraffes were long gone but the Giraffes made a game of it against the BLOODS who will need to improve on that effort to stay in the top eight.

With just one Round remaining:

The Cat Empire has secured the Minor Premiership. =D>

The Cat Empire, HarryNuts and WLF have secured a top-four spot, with TEAM_FISH and Crab Mustard FC both hoping to secure the last one.

The Cat Empire, HarryNuts, WLF, TEAM_FISH, Crab Mustard FC and Sunny Palm Pilots have all qualified for the finals, with Pump up ze jams, THE BLOODS, Backyarders, The Willies and BlueOwlOde all hoping to make up the last two finals spots.

The baby giraffes, HOLLANDS HEROES and Goonie's will be relegated, with FridayKNightFool and Lodgelads12 battling to avoid the last relegation spot.

Should be a good final round!

I reckon I have done enough to defeat The Jams and hold onto fourth spot! :D

TEAM_FISH: 512points + Hine + O'Keefe + Goodes + Watson

Pump up ze jams: Green + Carrazzo + Kennedy + Thompson + Jacobs + Dempsey.

I also predict:

The top three spots will remain unchanged, with The Cat Empire, Harrynuts and WLF winning their respective games, although BlueOwlOde are a chance to knock off The Empire.

Crab Mustard FC to beat Killer Wombats! to secure 5th spot.

The Sunny Palm Pilots to secure 6th spot by edging out Backyarders who would then miss the finals.

THE BLOODS to get 7th spot by narrowly beating FridayKnightFool.

The Willies to smash the baby giraffes but not make up quite enough percentage on Pump up ze jams to get the last finals spot.

Trader will beat Lodgelads12, leaving the lads sweating on the outcome of the BLOODS/FridayKnightFool game to see if they are relegated or not.

Holding a 4 point lead over REB at 3/4 time of the last round .. Result doesn't really matter though as I can't make the finals, and I dont think REB can be dislodged from his possie

pels' Backyarders have completed a sensational Houdini act to escape the clutches of the relegation monster and sneak into the top eight in Hogg Division III. There were some brilliant results last week and that include's JK's effort of cleaning up yours truly who failed to see the season off with Porpoise! My vote for the unluckiest team in the entire Hogg goes to the Willies who despite winning by over 500 points over last ranked Giraffes, missed the top eigh by a mere .06 of a percentage point! Even Trader, FridayKnightFool or JimsTigerRoos could claim to be that unlucky.

Going into the finals there are several teams that look good for this flag but I reckon Harrynutts could be the one to salute here after he failed to win in the Bunny last year. He's gone even better this season in a better league and he'll be hard to stop for the premiership. WLF and TEAM FISH are also going to be about the place and maybe the Backyarders can reproduce the efforts of Les's Men who won the flag from eigth spot in Divvy III last year.

Going down are the Fools who scored well but couldn't defeat Crabby and Goonies, Hollands and Giraffes who had their cards marked a long time ago. Lodgelads scored well in their defeat against Trader but escaped relegation and will be back in Division III again next season.

Congrats to those who made the finals!!

The Blueowls are disappointed not to be partaking, but from early in the season it became apparent that staving off relegation would in itself be a battle, so we're pleased to have managed that.

As usual, our brainstrust is full of good idea's and motivation to challenge for Hogg honours in 2013, and as per usual when February rolls around all of that will be lost!

I'm a bit worried about Pels' Backyarders in the elimination this week, they have been posting some good scores of late to sneak into the finals. The last 2 weeks I have posted 2378 and 2406 with 19 players, realistically I will probably need atleast two out of Franklin, Ryder or Stanton to be back this week if I'm to be any chance of progressing.
