TEAM_FISH got rolled and is out of the eight and the cdfcdevils have swooped after the dust has settled in Round 13 of Division V. The Baron cleaned up my out of form Strutties to be in a position to challenge for the top four but as you can see above, Toomenny Beers (and the hammers) might have something to say about that. At this point of the season Delicious looks to be the one to beat which is a worry because I play them in Round 15.

While OMG and Loathsome have been solid throughout the journey I reckon that Delicious might get the Chocolates in the end. Remember though that in this Division the premiership is just one objective. All Division V and Division VI coaches are vying for promotion into Hogg Division IV in 2011 and the order of promotion is decided on rankings points for the season and not the win loss record of your team. The big clash in Division V this week is between Toomenny Beers and cdfcdevils. The Beers are hoping to stay in the top four while the devils have just gotten back into the top eight and will be aiming to stay there so everything to play for in this clash. I reckon the devils might fire up here and down Toomenny Beers in their victory celebrations. TEAM_FISH needs to beat a top side in order to make the eight and whufc will be trying to dislodge Beers from the top four so this clash is also an important one as to how the season might unfold come August. I reckon the FISH has gone off and that they will get hammered this week.

My Straycats have been coughing up some fur balls in recent weeks and really need to beat Thiele Crows this week or risk missing the eight altogether. I reckon the Strutties can bake 20 blackbirds in a pie and qualify for the finals even though on recent form Thiele has done it better than me. Uncle Tin is not without a chance of finals action but they need to defeat ladder leading OMG in order to make the eight. After this week Tin will be saying Uncle as OMG march on to another win.

Top sides Delicious, Loathsome and the Baron will enjoy bully wins this week and I reckon Heater's Hotshots will win the cripple fight with the Hotshots going on to record their 4th win of the year and hopefully leapfrog Thiele!

Things went according to script in Division V in Round 14 with the top seven sides all recording victories. This leaves a last round face off between cdfcdevils and TEAM_FISH for the final top eight spot with FISH needing to make up some percentage. Top four is still open as well as Fourth ranked Toomenny Beers play OMG in the last round which gives the hammers and to a lesser extent the Baron a look in there.

The only bottom eight side to win a match this week was Heater’s Hotshots who cleaned up Radelaide who appear to have given up the ghost, as has Far West but unfortunately winless Mum doesn’t get to play them in the final round and her boys
may end up with a Burger ring in the W column by the end of the season.

The key is not the winning margin but how many points Radelaide score. If they come out and score 1300 the winning margin would need to be smaller than it would be if Radelaide scored 1500 for example.

It's going to be tight that is for sure.

Yeah, maybe I should be focussing on the points against column.
But if my calculations are correct, percentage is points scored divided by points against.
Therefore Fish needs about a 300 point increase in the gap between points scored and points against given he's nearing the 30,000 point figure to kick 1 per cent.
