I will be having strong talks with Vince and Harvey before Friday to find out if they are going to perform. Might have to flick them both before their price drops, due to them playing different roles than last year. Who to bring in though............?
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

After much contemplation I have decided to retain both players. I got a good score in week one and a competitive score in week two. What has cost me badly in previous seasons is that I've opened up bakeries on Grand Final day.

This year I have decided against my trade burning ways and I'm going to stick with my original squad. I'll get the 'trade-itis' out of my system with the Strutties but in Hogg Premier I'm keeping the power dry at this stage.

You know I'm coming around to the same thinking. For me, Mitch Clark has been in sights for the chop as well as Hall & Tippett but I think holding them might be smarter.

Hehehe, funnily enough, I'm now coming around to the idea of making a trade or two. I was staunchly opposed to it a day or two ago.

It's OK, I've changed my mind already

Tippett I'll hold but Mitch Clark might make way for a cheaper option like Seaby

I was bagging the carp out of Seaby as an SC option prior to Round 1, now he might find himself in my line-up.

I did the math, there's a good possibility a Sandilands/Seaby combo will make me on average 30-50ppg more than my current ruck combo. It'll cost me a couple of trades, but it COULD be a long-term benefit. It will also leave me with a bit of cash in the kitty for a rookie upgrade, which means more potential points.

Yeah thinking about doing a Tipppett out Seaby in for my team. Could then use the freed up money to upgrade a Josh Hunt into any defender in the game.

I think Sandilands is becoming the clear best ruckman good for 110 average so I agree with getting him in as early as possible

If we make these trades we'll have the same ruck combination because I already have Sandilands.

One to watch this weekend is young Brisbane rookie Tommy Rockliff who has been named on a wing for the Lions for his AFL debut game. Rockliff ripped it up in the reserves last weekend kicking 7 goals and amassing 40 possies. Warming the Bench for Swamps Slumdogs this week.

Good call, apparently Tippett is suffereing from patella tendonitis in his knee at the moment, hence his struggle with form of late.

Yea, read about that one in the paper this morning. Only got 2 trades but, so the Tip-man gets another crack for the Ginger Ninjas for at least another week.

Retained Tippett and Mitch Clark.
Will be interesting to see if Bradshaw can start bagging some goals for the Swannies, especially against the Tigers this week.

Captain dilemma:
DT: I've got with GAJ this week, had Swan last week with a poor 80 odd.
SC: Went with Goodes against Richmond, although Riewoldt and Goddard were tempting with recent form...

I've traded Clark for Sandilands and think I might have Riewoldt as my captain this week. He has some impressive figures against the Pies and if he goes on his average against them, he will be scoring huge points. No doubt if i do that, Gazza will come out and rack up 180 points. Is anyone else thinking the same??
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I think Jones will take Swan this week so he'll have a tough time of it again, stick with StNic he has scored 93+ in 21 of his last 24 games, always get a solid score with him. Can't go wrong!

Scared off by Tippett's knee issues so decided to bring in Brown. I've also traded out Bower as he won't be avialable for four weeks. If they have to go now is the time while the value is good. Bower is worth a bit and might not be able to repoduce his earlier good numbers coming off an injury.

REBCats

B Malceski, Enright, Hodge, O'Brien, Silvangi, Hayden, Harbrow
M Barlow, Ablett, L Anthony, Martin, Vince, Bastinac
R Sandilands (vc), Ottens
F N Riewoldt (c), J Brown, Higgins, Goodes, Mayne, Ziebell, Hall
I Shuey, Nason, Duncan

IN: Silvangi, Malceski, Brown
OUT: Hurn (susp), Bower (inj - traded), Tippett (carp - traded)

NEW: Brown (Brisbane), Malceksi (Sydney)

Dang. I might have to retain Tippett now. That was pretty much the reason why I picked him due to his MPP eligibility. I'll switch Lobbe to the FWD bench and shift Tippett into the Ruck. That means I have bring Duncan on to the field and use Roberts as my subbie.

I still might trade Bower though and pocket the cash and get Malceski while he is still cheap. Spewing I won't have JB though.......
