I have stuck with Ablett he has gone Pendlebury...
Well Ablett got 133 and Pendlbury only got 132 so on that basis I'll definitely win! :-bd
yeah, i was hoping the captain choice would come out way in my favour. you got me by 60 points, which to be honest, is less than i thought it might be. well done
Yep it was a good tussle with both of having the usual mix of stars and spuds, but in the end Reddens 95 for me and Campbells donut for you helped me get over the line...

he cost me two games this week!! my opponent in another league had him on the bench as an emergency and giles on the field  lost that one by 60 as well.

when i saw how close our game was looking i was hopeful of snatching a win, i dont reckon i will get any for the rest of the season, and i am really worried i could still fall below the dreaded black line! how the mighty have fallen ;)

Did you end up doing the overall points scored list for all of Hogg this year?

Yep. It gets updated every week. I normally post the updates on a Tuesday night. Look in the 'Hogg Rankings Thread'.

With just three rounds left I can advise that:

The Cat Empire, Harrynuts, TEAM_FISH, WLF and Crab Mustard FC have avoided relegation.

The Cat Empire and Harrynuts will play finals.

Hollands Heroes and The Baby Giraffes cannot make the finals.

Nice one Crabby although I was hoping you'd lose to give me a better chance of making the top four...

Wow, there's the biggest bullet I've dodged in the competition ever I think!

Got home by 32 points, but my opponent ended up with 3 donuts, one of which was in the midfield and he had Pendelbury on the bench as a non-emergency!

Harrynutts has lost back to back matches for the first time in his Hogg career this weekend when they were overhauled by an impressive Crab Mustard in the Division III match of the day. However the REAL comptroller in terms of scoring once again is WLF who has racked up over 2400 for the third successive week. WLF spanked the giraffes and got a nice little percentage booster as Crabby and Nutts were duking it out in the tough encounter.

FISH also had a percentage booster and anyone keeping out of WLFs way in the first week of the finals could get the inside running on a Grand Final berth so FISHY knock that shit off right now! Sunny Palm Pilots dished up plenty of that stuff earlier in the year but are now in top form and they clambered into the top eight after smashing the most puzzling team in Division III, FridayKnightFool who all of a sudden have relegation worries once again.

Pump up ze jams put one foot into the top eight after edging out The Willies but the news was not so good for THE BLOODS who were knocked out of the eight by Trader who gets some breathing space and Killer Wombats! who were smashed by top of the ladder Cat Empire (and didn't I love typing that!). ;)

Meanwhile, Lodgey has decided not to look at his team so no JK, you didn't dodge a bullet, you simply looked at your side..which often helps. Lodgey will need to actually look at his side if he hopes to avoid relegation. Divvy IV is no place for the faint hearted as every new gun that enters the Hogg lobbs in that league so it's best to stay ahead of em.

With two rounds to go:

The Cat Empire, Harrynutts and TEAM_FISH will play finals.

The Cat Empire will make top four.

FridayKnightFool, Goonies, HOLLAND'S HERO'S and the baby giraffes cannot make the finals.

The Cat Empire, Harrynutts, TEAM_FISH, WLF, Crab Mustard FC, Pump up ze jams, Sunny Palm Pilots, The Willies and THE BLOODS have avoided relegation.

The baby giraffes will be relegated. :(

Rolled the dice by keeping Swan as captain over Ablett for a POD. I shouldn't play Supercoach sober
