Just looking back through this thread, I don't believe it has ever been stated what the two prizes are.

Last year it was $200 and $120, but two extra teams add an extra $40 to the kitty.
So are those prizes increased? Presumably Dutchy won't pocket the extra money, will he?

If a decision hasn't been made, I'd suggest to give money back to 3rd and 4th, and keep the top 2 the same. It can be a lot of luck in the last couple rounds of finals - you can have the best team all year but then have your team stuffed around by players getting rested, even if you have saved trades for finals.

Either way a final decision should be made now, before some of us become too biased depending on our likely finishing positions.

There is a greater chance though that luck will have an impact in the finals.

If 4 of your players (that your opposition doesn't have) are rested in round 15, say, there is only a small chance that will affect your premiership chances. If you have an excellent squad, you will still get the double chance, even if you lose this week.

If 4 of your players (that your opposition doesn't have) are rested in semi-final week, you are almost certainly stuffed, as you can only trade 2 of them, even if you have saved enough trades.

Ideally I would like 66% to winner 33% to loser as in the Pineapple, so this is pretty close.

Next year we will run a poll for Ecky's proposal and majority wins for both leagues.

Money back for 9th is an interesting option also, makes the bottom 8 finals mean something.
