Division VI Round 8

BloodnTars vs THE BLOODS
Ankles United vs The Glory Shed
Longwood Lions vs wonder elephants
BenjisBeasts vs HorsePlay
Nutkickers vs Killer Wombats!
Leisa's Lovelies vs Knuckle Sandwich
Jim's TigerRoos vs The Goonies
Prestige Worldwide vs Stats Enough

The match of the round in Divvy VI this week is the clash between Killer Wombats! and Nutkickers for the right to remain in the top four with Ankles likely to salute against Glory Shed. This match could be a very close one with only two points separating the sides in Round 7. I'll stick my neck out here and select the Wombats to kick the Nuts.

In another key clash, The Longwood Lions and wonder elephants have both looked good at times this season but were both beaten at last start so niether will want to drop another match here. The Lions have been better performed over the journey and might make life difficult for the elephants in this match. Jims TigerRoos have been scoring well and losing but should have no excuses against Bloods Jnr in the Goonies and he could get his season back on track. Hate to say though boys, I don't like your chances of catching Divvy II but all the best!

I wish i had your confidence in the wonbats REB. i think i am well and truly above my station on the ladder, on average scoring i am way down the ladder. everyone else has lifted their scoring significantly in recent weeks. somehow i reckon when i come up against more top sides i will plummet back to a more appropriate position  only time will tell i guess!

An improvement from Prestige & Horseplay would help in catching Division 2.
The Glory Shed has turned the corner so there is hope for you.

Massive score coming up for Longwood Lions with some handy players still to come.
Match is all over as the Elephants are one short in defence with Kennelly, Bock & Schoemakers all missing.
Another couple of close games with;

Nutkickers v Killer Wombats
Leisa's Lovelies v Knuckle Sandwich
Jim's TigerRoos v The Goonies.

Feels good to be on the winners board again. :D
Usually when I have the third highest score for the round I lose.
Hopefully finals, here I come. ;)

ROUND 8

Results
See above.

A big upset for Prestige Worldwide over the highly ranked Stats Enough is the story of the 8th round of matches in Division VI. This unexpected result is a bonus for BLOODS who has now snuck two games clear of the pack at the top of the ladder. BenjisBeasts was another side to do well this week as he scrambled into the top eight for the first time this season. wonder elephants were very unlucky to get done after posting over 2200 as the Longwood Lions scored a massive 2500+ in a remarkable performance.

One team that did have a change of luck was Jim's TigeRoos who finally bagged that elusive victory and Knuckle Sandwich was another team to enjoy a close win this week.

Seem to be enjoying a golden run in Div Vi at the moment(unlike my punting...!), as this was the only league I won in either Sc or Dt. My apologies to my opponent! But to those I play in coming weeks, my fall from grace is looming ever closer!

Division VI Round 9

BloodnTars vs The Glory Shed
Ankles United vs THE BLOODS
Longwood Lions vs HorsePlay
BenjisBeasts vs wonder elephants
Nutkickers vs Knuckle Sandwich
Leisa's Lovelies vs Killer Wombats!
Jim's TigerRoos vs Stats Enough
Prestige Worldwide vs The Goonies

It's a massive week for Ankles as they will be put to the test in the Division VI match of the round against league leaders THE BLOODS. Ankles have slowly been building up their score but might just come a cropper against BLOODS who have looked pretty good this year. High flying Nutkickers will be hoping for an upset win from Ankles as they should dine out on a Knuckle Sandwich. As Ellen Degeneres might say....hmmmmm Knuckle!

wonderelephants is running out of time to make his charge (tusk tusk what a bad joke) and might fancy himself against 8th ranked BenjisBeasts but the Beasts have been scoring well lately and could bring down the elephants again. Another team expecting to bounce back would be Stats Enough but Jims TigeRoos remain a dangerous opponent despite the ladder position. Leisa's Lovelies will be looking to hunt down the Killer Wombats who could do themselves a big favour by defeating a top eight rival in an eight point game for the Wombats.

Knuckles is on the improve, and after a good win last week, and outscoring Nutkickers in the highest scoring round to date, we could see an upset.
Rumour mill has Hodge jumping on board for second half of season, while Nutkickers have lost Higgins.
Will be close, need Tippet to step up to be competitive.

Trailling by 106 even if Trengove pulled out and The Bloods has no reserves in the midfield ;) Jolly would not score enough for you to win.
A good score this week regardless.
