No numbers from Hogg III this week so I used the Round 4 ranking for them. Come on lads I need more than dodgy screen shots with my piss poor eyesight LOL. Hogg Elite took a backward step and can't quite crack the top 50. Hogg Champions hold a good lead over Hogg Premier thanks to Woggy failing to score 2000 every week in the Premier League.

Dutchy cracked 2000 last week and seems to be back in the game and as a result Hogg I are starting to make some progress. Hogg II are still underperforming as they trail Hogg IV of all leagues by over 1000 places. There is a tight battle between the Piglet and Divvy V with Divvy V holding the honours and some of the top sides in Division VI are starting to take that league further away from the area traditionally frequented by the Bunny Bowl.

For the second year in a row a Divison IV team has topped the Hogg rankings with the Adelaide Crows leading the way after five rounds this season. RKJ is on fire at the moment but as others could attest, the only way is down. After five weeks if you have over 11,000 points then that means you are averaging over 2200 a week which is a very consistent start to the season. This is a stat that has been managed by 12 teams and a good start is so important so I'm tipping the majority of the top 12 will earn a place in the Hogg Elite League next season.

If you have less than 7,500 points then that means you are average 1500 a week and we have three coaches in this esteemed company. Regular readers of these posts won't be surprised to learn that these three coaches are Thiele, Strawb and MightyEagles who go this well every season. Only the Mustangs last year have threatened to escape the lower rungs but this year Strawb is back where he belongs....

For the first time in a couple of weeks there has been a change in the rankings order. Hogg Premier has overhauled Hogg Champions League who recorded the exact same rank as last week. The Piglet Shield also overtook Hogg Division V this round.

This week was a good one for the Hogg with eight of the then leagues improving their ranking. Only Elite (by 3) and Hogg Division V dropped in the rankings. Hogg Division I is coming good after a couple of coaches pulled clangers but did not spit the dummy but kept plugging away. Hogg Division III is doing really well and Hogg Division II is underperforming.

Full marks to the Adelaide Crows who now have a massive lead over second ranked Cork in the Ocean. The Crows have been very consistent this season with their scoring and a 133 point lead coming into the bye period is a pretty handy buffer. As long as you don't bring in Steven Trigg as your CEO then things will continue to look good for (virtual) Adelaide Crows.

The first bye week saw some massive changes in league rank with Hogg II finally getting its A into G to improve by over a thousand places. Other leagues to do well this week include Hogg IV up 500 and Hogg I up 300. In the elite leagues Champions and Elite dropped back a little but Hogg Premier has continued to show steady improvement.

The Crows have fallen off their perch and Cork in the Ocean has bobbed up again as the number one team in the Hogg after another solid week. Corky is absolutely flying this season and it's not much fun trying to beat him at the moment and no one in Hogg Premier League or Hogg Elite has managed to achieve the feat.

The Adelaide Crows are only one point behind Corky at this stage and Hondo is starting to score heavily and he is ahead of this year's best newcomer, The Summer of George who is braining them in Divvy V.

The elite leagues had minor improvements but the big news in the ranking this week is that Hogg Divison II has finally extracted the digit after a fairly piss poor showing to date so far this season. Divvy II overhauled Division III which is sinking fast and made up some ground on Divvy IV so Divvy II could soon be back where it should be in the rankings.

If Premier League and Hogg Champions can get into the top 100 it will be the first time that three Hogg leagues have made the top 100 but a spot in the top 20 still eludes us. I think Premier League might be the one to get there first in the future because you need to be consistently good to stay there and also to get there.

The Adelaide Crows from Division IV are back on top of the ladder but every time they top the rankings they lose a match so RKJ needs to stay on top or he might miss out on the double chance and remarkably, end up in Divvy IV again next year. The omniscient Hondo is number 2 only a few kicks and a handball behind and I can say from experience he scores very well most weeks.

The gun team of the first eight rounds, Cork in the Ocean put in a real shitter and sending my love down a well tumbled all the way to number 5. Other early season flyers who have fallen on hard times recently are FNQ Trotters and ZedForce who are now ranked outside the top twenty. Meanwhile, good mates Les's Men and Hips Don't Lie are finally having the seasons that CoverKing would have expected of them when they first joined the Hogg three seasons ago, not that they were dudding it in previous years.

Summer of George is the best newcomer slotting in nicely in ninth spot and his continued dominance of Division V suggests that a Hogg Champions League berth is his for the taking should George decide to suit up next season. The highest ranked female player is as always, Underdogs but there aren't all that many Female coaches in the Hogg (only about ten I think).

We have even less junior players with 53rd ranked DA HEAT an experienced coach now even though he is only eleven years old. 86th ranked thekickingkangaroos is only eight years old and is already posting some consistent scores. Our two 'celebrity' auto entries are Shane Crawford in a respectable 35th and AFL 360's Robbo who isn't going quite as well at 54. Personally, I am aiming to beat both of these blokes.
