Just had a look and i have 17 players named with 2 potentially subs.

Still have a gun midfield of Ablett, Pendlebury, Watson, Kennedy, Swallow and O'Meara still playing.

I wont use any trades this week, i play in 2 different leagues and they will at this stage have 12 & 10 players playing without using a trade.

I think a key to this season will be getting through the bye rounds using as least of the available 9 trades as possible.

I've just made a team for just this weeks round. Lets see how I go. All the guns will probably underperform now!

B: Goddard, Hurn, Enright, Gibbs, Heppell
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Kennedy, Dangerfield, Parker, Hutchings, Martin (B Jack emergency)
R: Cox
F: Johnson, Bartel, Cloke, Harvey

Chucked VC on Ablett and C on Pendlebury for now.

Still debating on him or Hutchings which would mean I'd be able to turn a Parker into a Priddis or Masten

Exactly the same mate. To make it worse Brown from Adel is dropped not out with the Bye!

I only have 9 players playing at the moment but the way i'm looking at it is if I just swallow the bitter pill this week I should be ok for the following 2 weeks.

Going in with 19 this week after a couple of upgrades. Too scared to next week though.

Not sure whether to trade in Hawkins or Cox (gives the flexibility to switch him Ruc/Fwd with Nic Nat) .. Any advice?

Not trading and barring late withdrawals, I'll have 15 playing.

My opponent in my main cash league also has 15, so I'll back myself in there.

Whoever has Eddie's Little Indians should almost have 22 playing. Lol

I reckon it depends on your trades. If you are light on go Cox. If you aren't too bad off go Hawkins. Hawkins has seven matches at Cat Park plus a match against GWS to come and Cox's form is not great at the moment. Hawkins a lot cheaper too.
