If you have to play him buyer beware but if he's on the bench as a backup no problemo. Also is MPP so that's important come bye weeks. Won't get 100 every week but you could expect A Kennedy type numbers out of him most weeks I'd reckon.

Wanted to have my team as close to settled as possible by round 10 leaving the byes and a couple of injuries/upgrades to negotiate for the rest of the season. Here is how the team looks as at round 9;

B: Deledio, Scotland, Goddard, Waters, Lake, Birchall, Bugg/Guthrie, Spurr
C: Boyd, Thompson, Watson, Mitchell, Selwood, McDonald/Horsely,Adams
R: Giles, Kreuzer/Redden,Stephenson
F: Sidebottom, Robinson, Franklin, Beams, Pearce, Howe, Treloar/Zorko,Smedts

Pretty happy with that!!!

You'd expect Gibbs to smash it this week then??

He's been given the hard word and with Murphy's shoes to fill, I think Gibbs is actually one who will get better.

I'm going for wins, and I think Boyd will serve me better, couldn't fit them all in at the start though...
And yep, I dumped Gibbs, so he'll rock out 150-odd now... ;)

So my two trades for the week are;

OUT - Greene, morris

IN- Zorko, waters

That leaves me with a couple of selection decisions to make.

Backs: Goddard, deledio, Scotland, shaw, waters, lake and bugg (smedts and Tomlinson)
Mids: Stanton(c), Boyd, Mitchell, swallow, Horsley and McDonald (Zorko and Magner)
Rucks: cox and Giles (redden and Stephenson)
Fwds: Sidebottom, Franklin, dangerfield, n reiwoldt, Martin, porplysia and treloar (Milera and hall)

Mids are where the decision lies... Magner can stay there , he's likely to pump out his usual 60 but junior, Horsley and Zorko have a bit of upside... Question is who will be the sub? I'm leaning towards the way it is above but if any change it'll probably be Zorko for Horsley..

Decisions decisions...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

I reckon Horsely, Adams, Milera and Magner will be very good chances for Sub's this week

I can't see why Horsely would be a sub though, a great ball-getter.
I reckon they'll give the vest to one of the newer guys in the team this week.
Same with Magner, has to play a full game for Melbourne to be a chance. Milera and Adams are chances for the vest though.

Depends where you are on the ladder. Sitting at one win in the Pineapple League, I will be trading heavily in coming weeks.

2nd, 8th, 14th & 9th.

50/50 game in the league I'm 2nd in, should win the others though barring any catastrophe's, I have a pretty crap backline now though, can win a trick with my trades back there although I've made minimal trades and have almost $200K.
I'm caught between two game plans, don't know whether to concede defeat in my first bye round or try finding an even spread over the 3.

Yeah, depends which league is your focus.

If I was sitting in second, I wouldn't be too concerned but I've been desperately trying to set my team up for the byes to get much-needed wins.

Hopefully I get some coaches roll over and concede in those weeks but knowing my luck, I'm in for a dogfight.

The 2nd & 14th ones are for money, I'm still doing ok in the one that I'm 14th, I've lost a couple of close ones against others that have traded hard and ranked highly.
I'm happy to plod along and keep in touch with the 8 although there's some krafty DT'ers in there from previous experiences.

only reason i aint jumping on him is because i already have Hayes and Goddard... don't want too many Sainters or too many from any club for that matter! ut Dal Santo is very delicious at that price too
