Thats rubbish. I have been using him as my number 2 ruckman and with Petrie on the bye I will be forced to burn a trade so I have a full team. This was the only week I did not want Smith rested. After the Nth Melbourne bye Petrie was going to move into the ruck. This hurts my plans.....

FREMANTLE
Ruckman Aaron Sandilands is likely to return from a toe injury this week with Fremantle's season on the line. The star big man has played just once in 10 weeks, but coach Mark Harvey has declared he is prepared to roll the dice against Carlton. David Mundy (leg) is less likely to be available, while selection for Sandilands would rule out a return for ruckman Jon Griffin (hip). Josh Mellington would likely have replaced Adam McPhee (suspended), but the young forward he has been sidelined for up to six weeks with an elbow injury, potentially opening the door for Ben Bucovaz or Ryan Crowley.

well if they do that, I'm knackered. I have Goldstein, Cox and Smith as rucks.

Should I keep Petrie this week and just use Hale off the bench?

I don't think the byes matter when it comes to the popular players - most teams have them so everyone is in the same boat and the disadvantage is reduced.

So if you have good cover in Hale then definitely use him I reckon.

A lot of teams will suffer this week if Zac Smith is rested so having Hale as a cover is an advantage if anything.

Resting Smith would be a silly move you'd think, I reckon they'd back themselves against the Lions.

Considering they beat Brissy last time they should start favourites! Missing J.Brown again doesn't help the situation either.

Well mate, Sandi has been named....in the forward pocket! And Griffin has been named as an emergency. Wouldn't surprise to see him as a late withdrawal. But on the plus side, Freo simply has to win this or she's all over.

Zac Smith is on a spud cycle.

I'm rolling the dice and giving Lobbe 1R...

Smithy isn't even starting in the ruck so won't pick up cheap hitouts points.

GAJ & Boyd back in to strengthen mids.

Sylvia back to cover Petrie.

Have full cover in all lines.

Pumped for the finals.

1 trade this week.
Out A Krakouer
In S Johnson
I am sticking with Zac Smith for the week. Next week Petrie will become my #2 ruckman with Cox.
Biggest decision is captain this week. Normally I have either Swan or Pendles but with them playing St Kilda who can be defensive I am thinking either Judd, Ablett, Bartel or Stevie J.
