A couple of teams made their move this week in particular the Underdogs who upset Cork in the Ocean to hold second spot. Highly regarded Honda's Heroes are somehow sitting in 11th spot and as you read above wycbloods' winning ways came to an end at the hands of BenjisBeasts. Captain Who pulled a clanger this week but it was business as usual for MILLERS MOSQUITOES who drew blood again and also for Voss' Junkyard who are rubbish.

An honourable mention to the cobras who finally are starting to look like a Division I side even though they were rolled by LKIF this week.

For such a high standard league, this thread is one of the quiter ones on this board. The massive news here is that the high flying MILLERS MOSQUITOES have put in a shitter and have been knocked off the top of the ladder by wycbloods who is having a fine season this year. Someone who is probably doing even better is the highly credientialed BenjisBeasts who have been a BEAST of a team since about halfway through last season. Since then he has collected two Hogg premierships and could be in line for a third in top company as well. He would be a worthy addition to the Premier League field if he can continue on in this vein.

Captain Who as Groover has mentioned had a real nailbiter, finally getting over the line in his atch against Cork in the Ocean who despite being one of the top scoring teams in the Hogg somehow finds himself out of the eight in this very competitive league. BERBA DTC, aka Darcy DTF last year's Hogg Premier League champion is flying under the radar a bit this year but remains right in the hunt at 3-1.

Leisa's Lovelies cleaned up her brother dale and his cobras to consolidate her Division I place but the top ranked female coach is the Underdogs who now head the table after racking up a close victory against Culshure to remain undefeated. This is the best league in the Hogg so far this year and some very good coaches are going to miss out on promotion this year.

The bottom four are in amber......ok then orange to demonstrate that these teams are in danger of relegation. The election did not change anything in the two top divisions so there will still be two play off finals to determine which two sides get relegated to Hogg Division II next season. Voss' junkyard and the cobras look the likely teams at this stage.

The top teams in Division I all had solid wins but somehow Captain Who managed to slip out of the top four despite winning by 176 points. It will be a cracking finals series again in Division I when the Beasts, Mosquitoes, bloods and Dogs all fight it out with the Captain for higher honours.

Having said that there are some pretty handy coaches just outside of that group. BERBA hasn't really fired this year and they were run over by Honda's Heroes in a disappointing result for Darcy. Cork in the Ocean is ranked very high in the overall Hogg standings but this is not translating to victories in Hogg Division I. Corky copped an astonishing backhander by the cobras who rarely record the sort of score they got on the weekend. I thought cobras only did that to me so I know how you feel Corky.

The cobras best ever Division I result starts to put a little heat on some of the teams just outside of the relegation zone. Two top eight sides from last year in Dutchy's Dodos and Professor Crow (aka Supre Cil Dluohs) haven't fired a shot this season and that Orange fill has settled over them like a heavy blanket.

I've just been over to the Division IV thread and they're a happy lot over there but I don't think they've got Division I covered judging by these scores. Yeah no 2600+ scoring binges but not one coach scored under 2150 for the entire league this week. That is something I've never seen before. I tell ya what I don't want to relegated into this division thanks!

Gibbo's Underdogs took the scoring honours this week and she remains top dog. BenjisBeasts had a bit of a downer this week and wasn't all that far off copping a massive boilover from Voss' Junkyard who finally came to play after five rounds of **** all. BERBA DTC is one coach who probably wishes he took his Premier invite as he is now only at 3-3 and is also curiously low on the overall rankings for Hogg Coaches. Meanwhile spare a thought for the poor old Slammers who have have scored over 13000 points but can't seem to win a game. MILLERS did this last year so not the end of the world for the Slammers although the top eight are starting to sneak away.

Gibbo's Underdogs are going from strength to strength in this very tough league...clearly a change in name is needed for this team because they don't start Underdogs very often these days. The latest scalp on the Underdogs' collar is Captain Who? who was not disgraced with his score of 2184 which would have won the day in most Hogg matches this week.

In another vital top end clash MILLERS MOSQUITOES held out in a tight match against dual 2010 Hogg Premiers BenjisBeasts who has been smashing it recently. Cork in the Ocean did less well in his top eight clash with Culshure Plus and like the name of his team, Corky has been very up and down in this division. This latest loss sees Corky out of the eight while Culshure just keeps on keeping on in a much improved effort from last season's performance as Matty's Knights.

Don't look now, here comes Dutchy! The Dutchman (I'm not Dutch!) has adopted a slow but steady approach to this season and his cool head under pressure has been rewarded with some recent victories. This latest win against the Slammers sees Dutchy scramble out of the relegation zone while dropping Matty's Slammers right into it.

LKIF, BERBA and wycbloods all had very good victories as they pressed home their top eight and top four claims resepectively. At the arse end of the ladder congrats to Professor Crow who racked up a win this week unlike the real thing.

Well done to Honda's Heroes who have ended Underdogs' unbeaten start to the season in something of a boilover. Honda's reward for their best performance of the year was a trip to the relegation zone! There's no justice in Division I this season LOL. Once again it's MILLER time who are topping the scoring and the ladder now and look a pretty good bet to make the Division I Grand Final and play Hogg Premier next year.

Who goes up with them is the 64 thousand dollar question. Captain Who? is once again in the top four at this level and will be hoping to avoid his straight sets exit of last year. Culshure Plus has come from nowhere to be a much improved side this season with his latest big scalp being BenjisBeasts. wycbloods, like Underdogs also was lacking a bit of bite as they were knocked off by the captain and reigning Hogg Premier champion BERBA finally flexed his muscles with a solid win over LKIF.

The Slammers finally got the result they've been looking for as they topped the scoring for the division this week with a thumping victory over the Professor who doesn't have much to Crow about. The Dodos have come back from extinction to be hovering around the eight and Leisa's Lovelies turned in a very good score to belt Voss' Junkyard in a match that could hardly be termed a scrap.

I'm not sure how Mrs REB has done this, but her team is better than mine and she's hardly looked at the darn thing while I've spent countless hours on research and preparation. This week the Lovelies pulled off her best Hogg Shield result by drawing the match against Division I favourite MILLERS MOSQUITOES in a sensational result. If I told the Mozzies how little time Mrs REB spent on SC he wouldn't believe me!

The Underdogs have taken advantage of MILLERS' slipup to regain top spot on the ladder and other top teams in Captain Who, BERBA and wycbloods all bagged important victories in Round 9. BenjisBeasts run of poor recent form continued with a third straight loss as they went down to LKIF and Professor Crow also enjoyed a rare victory this week.

Cork in the Ocean is bobbing around the top eight but it was bad news for Dutchy as his team suffered a setback after building steadily in recent weeks.

The Underdogs have made a big statement this week with a crushing victory over the previously number one ranked team in the entire Hogg, MILLERS MOSQUITOES. The Underdogs will be out to emulate the efforts of BenjisBeasts who took home two Hogg Premierships in the 2010 season as the Dogs also enjoy a 10-1 record in the Piglet Shield.

Another top performer in Divvy I this year is wycbloods who stated at the start of the season that he wanted to improve and make the top four. So far he is on track to do that with yet another win against a contender as he breezed by Culshure Plus to take an 87 point victory. Captain Who? has lost a bit of form in recent weeks and his back to back losses have laid out the welcome mat for BERBA (geddit ha ha) who has snuck under the Radar a bit year despite being the reigning Hogg Premier League champion.

The top seven sides look like finalists already but there is a fair old battle going for that last finals spot. Cork in the Ocean have always looked likely finalists but they haven't really gotten the wins on the board to back that up. Don't look now but Honda's Heroes and Dutchys Dodos have come roaring back into contention and even the Slammers with thier nine point win on the weekend against the Lovelies are now back in it.

The relegation zone appears to have a predictable look about it with Voss' Junkyard and the cobras a sure thing to be in Division II next season. cobras avoided the drop last year but you'd back SCD's Professor Crow to send him on his way when the finals start. All is not lost for Leisa's Lovelies either as you'd expect them to be able to finish off the Junkyard if they happened to finish in the unlucky 13th spot.

At this stage it looks as though two of Underdogs, MOSQUITOES, wycbloods and BERBA will be playing in Hogg Premier League next season as they now have a two game buffer on the chasing pack with three matches to play. It would take some pretty good SuperCoaching to win three finals in this company to make the Grand Final from the bottom half of the eight.

Of the top teams wycbloods was stunned by Cork in the Ocean who showed that they belong in the Division I finals series. wycbloods haven't done much wrong this year but won't want to hit a speed hump here with the finish line in sight. Top teams Captain Who? and BenjisBeast have lost that winning feeling and now look longshots to scramble into the top four. BenjisBeasts has good finals form on the board but Captain Who appears to be stuck at this level and can't quite crack it into Hogg Premier. He'll need to win some finals this season.

There's eleven teams still in the hunt with a number of sides just outside the eight keeping themselves in it. Honda's Heroes raised a few eyebrows when they were promoted straight into this highly ranked division but they are now in top form and are really putting the heat on Culshure Plus in particular who failed to crack two grand in a high scoring week. Dutchy and LKIF also kept their season alive but another loss for any of those sides could prove fatal.

In the relegation zone The cobras enjoyed a rare win and it looks like he'll have to play SCD for the right to stay up but he's won a relegation final before. So much better to finish in 13th so you can clean up bunny team, SBJAC's Junkyard.

Can anyone stop the Underdogs? That is the question the Divvy I coaches have been asking all season long and Gibbo's Premier League credentials were validated with a high scoring win over reigning Hogg Premier BERBA DTC (aka Darcy DTF). There is a massive battle going on for the last spots in the eight with the highly rated Cork in the Ocean starting to look a bit wobbly in terms of their head to head rating in this league.

Dutchys Dodos proved that they are a long way from extinction and they have timed their run perfectly it seems. Hondas Heroes are in the driving seat as they, like the Dodos have gone up a gear in recent matches. Culshure Plus could be the vulnerable side in the top eight if Dutchys Dodos take flight in August.

As far as relegation goes Professor Crow has racked up two losing scores of 2300 in the past two weeks so you'd expect him to take out the cobras and you'd expect the winless Junkyard to be scrapped by Leisa's Lovelies in the other relegation final. The door hasn't Slammed on the Slammers as far as relegation goes either.

Dutchy's Dodos have kept their Division I premiership hopes alive by sensationally defeating the top of the ladder Underdogs in the boilover of the season. Dutchy won a top quality match 2516 to 2505 with Gibbo dead stiff to lose after racking up 2500 points! Another desperately unlucky coach is BERBA DTC who lost for the second week running after racking up over 2400 points. There is just nowhere to hide in this Division and BERBA's second straight loss has seen him tumble to seventh on the premiership table.

Despite Dutchy, the big winners this week were Captain Who, who managed to get back into the top four and BenjisBeasts who are also in the hunt for a top four spot. Whoever finishes ninth here is going to be one unlucky SuperCoach because nine into eight just don't go. The bottom seven are gawnski and it remains to be seen whether or not Dutchy, who has straggled all season can make a dramatic late entry into the top eight.

What a finish to the minor round. wycbloods showed that they will be a genuine contender when they went within 55 points from knocking the Underdogs off the top of the ladder. The Captain has hung on to a top four spot with decorated coaches BERBA DTC and BenjisBeasts missing out. The main story of the final round was the dramatic late entrance into the top eight of Dutchy's Dodos who have been at the wrong end of the ladder all season.

The Dutchman has been rolling along nicely in recent weeks with impeccable timing but faces a team that has won two premierships from their last two finals campaign in the Hogg shield. BERBA gets to play against Culshure Plus who appears to have lost all form so I won't be writing off last year's Hogg Premier champion from regaining his place either.

In the relegation zone Leisa's Lovelies draw against second ranked MILLER'S MOSQUITOES has earnt them a shot at cellar dweller SBJAC's Junkyard while the cobras face a second straight relegation final at this level against SCD's Professor Crow who looks to have him covered. Who the hell am I talking to? Nobody ever comes into this thread!
