What should i do?

I have 12 trades left and have MaGuire in my side, i can use two trades and end up swapping J.Trengove for a player of $100,000 and then MaGuire for Hodge.

Should i do that now or save the 12 trades?

Other catch is this week im playing the second to bottom side who is averaging around 1700 per week while im currently averaging 2100 a week and have a full side playing except MaGuire so i should win you would think.

What do i do?

I've got 7 trades left, and my aim is to get to Hogg Div V.
To do that, i need to have the highest overall score as possible as REB states (please correct me if i'm wrong here mate) only Premier to Div III is relegation, the rest gets sorted by total points.

So i'm thinking about the following:
LeCras OUT
Daniel Stewart IN (with Tredders out he will play, as my emergency though)
Dangerfield moves from bench to starter.

Maguire OUT
Hodge IN
So i'm getting rid of injured player and upgrading to premium.
Need points NOW and if i run out of trades i won't die wondering!!

This is from another thread, i hope i interpreted in right.

Rik E Boy wrote:You need to make the Grand Final of Hogg II to be promoted to Hogg I. The Hogg is a head to head competition whereas SuperCoach as a whole is a rankings comp. Seeing as the majority of us mere mortals aren't really in the running for the 50k (well, the Mozzies and darcy might be!) it's all about winning your league.

The reason I am keeping a track of overall rankings is for next year. The Piglet will be Division VI at the very highest and a number of coaches will drop out so the rankings will help me decide who goes into some of the middle divisions next year. The only way to get into Hogg Premier, I and II next season is to qualify. We have to show some loyalty to Hogg coaches who have played every season.

A bit more info. Div III 2010 will be...

2 teams relegated from Div II
Teams ranked 3-12 in this years Div III
Winners of relegation finals (i.e. Round 19: 13 vs. 16 and 14 vs. 15)
2 Highest eligible Div IV teams unless they have not accepted promotion which would then equate to the highest RANKING sides from teams in Division V and Division VI.

According to the rules above the teams vying for Division III promotion would be

Kiwi Krappers (2nd in Piglet)
The Underdogs (4th in Piglet, ranked in the top ten overall)

With

Cork in the Ocean
Longwood Lions

to be promoted to Division III if Krappers and Underdogs chose not to be promoted.

So the highest I could possibly go, assuming I start going abit better than now, is Div V (i'm in VI now) and what do I need to do to achieve that?

All of Div V is going to be dropped to about Div VI so that make Div IV your next target if you can't catch Corky or the Lions. The way to do that mate is score points! 8)

Gidday cossi. The problem with an established divisional system is where to place new coaches who have had some previous experience. What I did this year was to get people to send me their rankings from the previous season and I would try to match them up with others of the same ability.

The only thing is that loyalty must be shown to existing Hogg coaches who have had to win their way into a particular league. If say we get two new leagues next season experienced coaches would go in one league and the newbies in the next.

One thing that will never happen is that a new coach will be sent an invite to join Hogg Premier League. Next year perhaps the highest a new coach could expect to be invited to would be Hogg Division II.

BTW, Hogg Shield is SuperCoach and not Dream Team. As far as the Dream Team is sorted it's first come first served with no rankings system. A Mum runs that one.

With Ben Howlett omitted (not even an emergency this week!) it makes the call trade him out for Gysberts a little easier - if Gysberts is selected.

Kennelly back in saves me from a zero this week! With 9 trades left im considering downgrading Lewis Jetta to Gysberts but unsure of that. Will give me 100k or there abouts, enough to allow me to upgrade both Maguire and Kennelly to Heath Shaw and Carrazzo, or upgrade one of them to Enright or someone around that price!
