reckon i got lucky with a win this week. i wasnt confident after seeing the progress yesterday, i was in front but had less players to come. surprised and impressed with the wombats score, now i just need to keep it up, and improve by about 150 points a game to go up. (definately easier said than done 
)

Yeah in that position being caught between ladder positon and promotion/demotion points.
Without being rude (i love the job you do REB) and i voted on the pole but i really think the league needs to just be a promotion/demotion comp just like the EPL.
At the end of the day in the AFL its not how many points you score but more so whether you win or lose. I would love the comp to reflect that.

Similar issues for me, especially down back.
Gibbs, Scotland, Duigan, Toy.
In the middle Juddy was going to be an easy cover until Montagna went and got suspended and Harris got dropped, now have to use Prestia's MPP to get a forward into the guts and cover the forward line with Harper.
Might get away with just the one donut down back this week, but it's not looking pretty. Any late withdrawals and im rooted!

An interesting week for SC this week, a par score was around the 2k mark and there were some tight games.
TEAM_FISH almost notched up his first win of the season against Killer Wombats!, only to go down by 44points. Bear Necessity jumped into the top 4 after a thrilling win against Trader by 3points. The other close games saw WLF kick THE BLOODS out of the top 8 with a 14point victory.

Looking at points scored for the season, there really was not much change in positions but the gap has been tightened between Has Been and Cossi's Carnts. After dashing off at the start of the race Has Been is slowly coming back to the rest of the pack where less than 500 points is the difference between 1st and 4th.
At the bottom end of the table it appears to be a 3 horse race for the wooden spoon with 400 points between the bottom 3 and then over 500 points to the last relegation position. Remember it is a marathon and not a sprint so plenty of time for this to change throughout the season.
