Loathsome gone.

I want your top four spot.

Strut.

I'll fight you for it all season, but unless some of my so called premiums start to fire I might struggle for the rest of the year. They're not worth trading out, but they're not really getting the scores needed to stay competitive.

Started planning for next year though. ;)

Division V Round 9

Uncle Tin vs Mumma's Boys
Toomenny Beers vs Sean's Knights
Heater's Hotshots vs Far West
TEAM_FISH vs Straycat Strut
Thiele Crows vs whufc
Delicious vs Radelaide
Loathsome vs cdfcdevils
Baron Greenbacks vs Omg I got RKO'd

The last match on the list is the big one as undefeated OMG face a tough test against the Barons who are in top form in the moment. OMG might be tempted to look at the ladder position and conserve a trade and keep the powder dry for the finals and might open the door for the Greenbacks who I am tipping this week. Now that I've tipped them, they are probably gone LOL.

Loathsome's tough trott could continue against the devils but the devils have proven to be an inconsistent outfit (except for when they played me DOH) so I'll tip Loathsome to reverse his run of outs in this one. In the middle of the ladder my Strutties play TEAM_FISH and I'll reckon that the Cats will be dining out on FISH this week. Your mine Fishy! In a similar position in the ladder I reckon that Sean's Knights can down toomenny Beers.

In the other matches I reckon that Uncle Tin, whufc and especially Delicious to win comfortably and I'll select the Hotshots to open their account and leave Mum alone in last spot.

Got a great midfield cranking at the moment:
Ablett, Swan, Cooney, Goodes, Montagna, Barlow.
Racked up over 700 points last week, not including captaincy.

I've got headaches in defence at the moment.

I have Simon White and Matt Maguire both injured for a few weeks.

My bench cover of Dylan Roberton and Campbell Heath are both on the bubble.

I'm thinking of downgrading White to Ricky Henderson and upgrading Maguire to a few premium backs.

Leaves me with a fragile backline though, makes me nervous having no emergencies back there.

 Wow mate nice, i racked up 766 with captaincy. My forward line if they all fire has the capabilities of big scores: Pavlich, Brown, Didak, O'keefe, Podsiadly, Chapman and Rockliff....

I reckon you might be right REB, I've managed to cobble a rough and ready team together after being decimated by injuries for the second week running.

But my rag tag team of desperados, under the guidance of coach FISH may just send REB crashing out of the eight! :D

Yeah my forward line is probably my weakness:
Chapman, Johnson, Franklin, Rockliff, Fyfe, Brennan, Playfair.

My opponent Thiele Crows has L.Thomas sitting on the bench. He scored 217 and isn't an emergency so cant be used.

ROUND 9

Results

Uncle Tin 2,076 Mummas 1,692
Toomenny Beers 2,312 Seans K 1,955
Heater's Hotshots 1,793 Far West 1,588
Straycat Strut 2,302 FISH 2,115
whufc 2,397 Thiele Cr 1,837
Delicious 2,243 Radelaide 1,601
Loathsome 2,360 cdfcdevils 2,162
Baron Greenbacks 2,254 OMG 2,105

Congrats to Baron Greenbacks who has cleaned up the previously unbeaten OMG as predicted by the Baron himself all week long. Loathsome returned to form after a few 'Baron' weeks with an impressive victory over an unlucky devils outfit that now faces a struggle to make the top eight. Toomenny Beers got up over Seans Knights to keep Sean out of the top eight for another week and Straycat Strut went fishing and landed a good one with a solid victory over TEAM_FISH.

Congrats to Heater whose Hotshots also won their first game of the season leaving A Mum in a very lonely place stone *ahem* motherless last on the ladder with no wins, yes no wins for the season. As far as the season goes there are still eleven teams in the hunt for the Division V premiership but a lot would need to go right for Uncle Tin to salute in the big one in August.
