Lobster League Grand Final

Winner: $200
Runner-Up: $120

WLF vs wycbloods

WLF has had a huge run coming into this Grand Final, winning his last 12 games and knocking off the highest ranked point scorer (Cork In The Ocean) in the 1st Qualifying Final to advance to the Preliminary Final where he knocked off Far Q.

wycbloods hasn't had quite the same winning streak, but has won when it counts. He knocked off 2nd placed Longwood Lions in the Qualifying Final, then claimed another big scalp in Cork In The Ocean to advance to the Grand Final.

In their only encounter this year, it was WLF who came out on top by 124 points, however it was during the fabled Round 7 where scores were down all around.

Trades and adequate cover could be decisive here. WLF is hanging onto Sylvia and also has Fyfe, while wycbloods has neither but Pavlich lurks on his bench.

It's hard to pick a winner here. If WLF has a couple of trades up his sleeve, then I'll think he'll get over the line, whereas, if he has none, then I think wycbloods may have a slight advantage.

Been a very entertaining year!!

One trade left and used for Fyfe>Chappy

Terrible bench cover but have a full team on park.

If my premiums fire i think I will have him but at this time of year it's anyone.

Good luck wycBloods and thanks for the write up and organisation Q

Interesting teams in the GF guys, so similar, I think you have both piked on Captains, but the differnece could be the result.
WLF you could have risked Boyd?
Bloods you could have risked Moloney?
As REB said the STARS Mzungu, Howe, Smith and Lobbe performance will now also count.

WLF -

Bock + Broughton + Boyd + Ablett (x2) + Lobbe + Petrie + Mzungu

vs

wycbloods -

86 + Suckling + Stanley + Cotchin + Moloney + Cross + Z Smith + Howe

Undone by Swan as captain, wycbloods has the spectre of el capitan Ablett casting a grave shadow over his chances at the premiership. WLF sitting in the box seat here.

Ablett tearing it up with 113 at 3qtr time. I think that might be the game there.

"YAAABLETT!", shouts WLF. Or is that the fat lady belting out a tune? Game almost over, and WLF would need something to go horribly wrong from here.
