Delicious vs whufc
Loathsome vs Omg I got RKO'd
Baron Greenbacks vs cdfcdevils

There are some rounds in SuperCoach leagues that are pivotal and this round is definitely that for Division V. The recently dethroned Loathsome takes on the undefeated OMG in the match of the round with Loathsome facing the very real prospect of dropping a second straight match as their form has dropped away over the last couple of weeks. This could be the match that decides if Loathsome will be a top four team or not. There is also another top four clash between Delicious who have been quietly sneaking up the ladder and whufc who pulled a massive captaincy clanger to hand four points to my Straycats who are after his top four spot. Delicious might just sit down to another fine meal and keep the heat on OMG at the top of the ladder.

Chucky Norris' Greenbacks have been competitive this season but seem to stumble whenever the top eight beckons. It could be the same again this week as he plays against the devils who have awoken after a hellish start to the season (I'll tip you one day Greenbacks!). Another massive game in a massive week is between Sean's Knights and Uncle Tin. Both of these sides have been going well but this form has not been converted to premiership points. The Knights appear to have jumped the shark in recent weeks and will need to put the Tinny away to get back in the game. TEAM_FISH, Toomenny Beers and the Straycats have soft matches in a week when the top four will be bashing the you know what out of each other and Theile Crows and Radelaide will be squaring off for a rare win. This week represents a massive opportunity for all of the teams ranked 5-10 in this league.

Looked and made changes to my team (with hours to spare even)
Then looked to see who I am playing-
Pretty sure I'm not only going to lose this week, but get flogged even :(

Had to burn a trade as I had Hargrave, Moore and L. Henderson (all OUTS) in my defence. :evil:

Have traded one out and left a definite donut for this week. Hopefully I can still get up over Far West. [-o<

After having a captaincy clanger last week i have probably made move of the year to knock of 2nd place Delicious

Put Goddard as captain instead of Ablett

Goddard = 188
Ablett = 121

Won the game by 58 points.

Notched up a win over A Mum but only scraped together 2000 points.

Tippett, Davis, Cornes and Hille killed me!!
Plus I had a donut!

So between five possible scoring positions, I scored a total of about 80 points.

ROUND 8

Results

Uncle Tin 1,986 def by 2,170 Sean's Knights
Toomenny Beers 2,008 def 1,648 Mumma's Boys
Heater's Hotshots 1,932 def by 2,252 Straycat Strut
TEAM_FISH 1,973 def 1,352 Far West
Thiele Crows 1,662 def by 1,715 Radelaide
Delicious 2,310 def by 2,368 whufc
Loathsome 2,208 def by 2,268 Omg I got RKO'd
Baron Greenbacks 2,343 def 2,037 cdfcdevils

The top four remained unchanged as the big boys in Division V slugged it out. whufc cleaned up Delicous who remains in second spot despite the defeat and OMG provided Loathsome with a second straight loss. But don't look now folks a new contender has emerged in Division V, the mighty Green Baron who has climbed out of the cellar and into the top eight with a series of good perfomances with the latest being an impressive win over the devils.

Down the wrong end of the ladder Radelaide has struck again and now has 3 out of eight after defeating the Thiele Crows but some of the sides outside the eight such as Sean's Knights will have to duke it out another day as results didn't really fall in their favour.
