Plus to make matters worse have made an unforgiveable error in not naming an emergency up forward and one of them is Taylor Walker who is playing very well.

Hawthorn is not the only reigning premier struggling REB.

Walker, what a blinder! Was forced to have him in my side with Didak still out - a bit of good fortune after having Higgins a late withdrawal.

I put Walker on the bench and didn't trade him as he wasn't worth squat. Yesterday he racked up 124 and gave me an average of 62 for the missing Brown and Higgins. Dodged a bullet there and I'll be 3-1 after this round and Ablett looks like he's returning early as well. Image.

What amuses me even more is that Black Magic is racking up a bunny like score as well.

Walker saved my bacon as well. He was my 9th named forward until I found out M Brown was a late out and then I luckily remembered that if you name 2 emergencies in the one position you get the lowest score of the 2. So I made sure Walker was my only named emergency up forward. Phew!!!!

Even though I traded Ablett I saved the spare cash to get him back so I think it's good news he could be back early. I avoided a donut and will be able to keep the player i brought in to cover him. I will have to wait out 1 game back to play to take the risk that his price drops to $700K or so then it's Rich+Dangerfield OUT and Ablett+rookie (prob Davenport) IN.

Cooney comes in because of K Cornes' shoulder injury. I also have "car crash" Rance to worry about but may save the trade and leave him on the bench because M Hurley will hopefully come back this week.

So many injuries!! Was it this bad last year?
In between signatures .....

Yeah but not this early Hondo. A lot of defenders went down come finals time (i.e. that's August of course and not September) last season. Hang on to your trades if you can. Not friggin easy I know. I used seven of the bastards already.

well, my boys this week lost by 41, 76 and won the third game by 185 with a total score of 1886.
i am extremely dissapointed as i had 2 doughnuts in Houlihan and Higgins, then with Davis out i had McAffer as the sub, he picked up 67, the other forward on my bench is Walker who scored 124, that makes up the one loss. then to top it off i pick Roughead as my captain instead of leaving Cox as the skipper therefore forfeiting 144pts...

total lost points this week due to bad coaching = 201

well, a few outs for Boongas Bulldogs this week...

B: Newman Lake Gilbee
HB: Hurn Drummond Embley
C: Simpson Hayes Rich
HF: Davis Pavlich Krakeour
F: Gray Roughead Johnson
R: Cox(c) Cross Barham(out)
INT: Geary Higgins(out) McIntosh Walker

others out include: Ziebell McAffer (F) with Ablett and Cook (M)

2 doughnuts with no emergencies playing, let's hope there's no more 'last minute withdrawals'

Not many trades left? I can see a March Champion about to turn into an April Fool. I did the same thing last year and the last thing you want to do is use up all your trades. You only have to look at the injuries so early in the year so far. Imagine what it will be like towards the end of the year. Good luck.

I have 13 trades left and get back Ablett, Chapman, Higgins and Skipworth this week, so I'm back on track now hopefully.

Reasonable side shaping up with week with Cox just in and I've downgraded Krakouer to Vickery who plays his first match for the Tigers this week.

He's shit, but I've got Walker and Sidebottom still to upgrade there so saving my pennys. Last trade next week!
