Cooney looking at a 140, Lake who knows- as long as Lake covers BBB, Cooney has Gilbee covered.

In my Hogg Div III game v TheWorstThereIs (MightEagles), I'm thrashing him by that much, that he should have a spud logo permenantly attached to his profile....

that will be a close one mate hall going alright, any news on cross punk?

Carpe Diem vs pafc1870

Match of the round in Division III is between the mighty Cork and the second highest point scorer in the league in Toolman. If Cork can defeat Toolman and Boongas Bulldogs they could very well go through the season without a loss. This will be Corkys biggest challenge of the season so far and it's a cracker! Most of the other matches in this league are relatively tame with the ManBearPigs vs. Brownys Boys clash a possible exception - the Pigs from Marion should be able to Brown off the boys in this clash and keep him outside the top eight for another week.

In other matches the Lodgies, Straycats, Bulldogs, Punk Roosters and pafc1870 should all record comfortable victories here to carry on their merry way. Lioneaters will need to extract the digit and defeat the Pigeon to arrest an alarming slide in recent weeks and I'm tipping that he will do just that.

REB

Sorry pafc, but the boys have been cutting out REB's pre-match predictions and putting them up in the rooms before the game for the last few games at Carpe Diem :)

ROUND 8

Results

Year of the Tiger 2,102 def by 2,168 lodge lads '10'
Boongas Bulldogs 2,283 def 1,712 Strawbsberries
Punk Roosters 2,154 def 1,106 TheWorstThereIs
Toolman 2,026 def by 2,304 Cork in the Ocean
Lioneaters 2,248 def 1,966 Pigeon Stinge
Marion ManBearPigs 2,284 def 2,161 Brownys Boys
Onegameatatimers 1,811 def by 2,252 Straycat Strut
Carpe Diem 2,000 def 1,667 pafc1870

There were some sensational games in Division III this week as underdog Year of the Tiger put the frighteners on the lodge lads and Toolman almost fixed up Cork who sprinted away on the Sunday to remain unbeaten. Lioneaters returned to top form over the Pigeon and ManBearPigs hung on to give Brownys Boys a big 5hitburger to eat. As predicted by this writer, Carp played sensationally well and picked up the expected victory. Can this man be stopped?

Watch this space but just quietly we've all had a gutful of Corky down here and its high time he dropped one.......a match that is.
