Round 13 Discussion

Yeah, I know it's early, but there is only one issue this week. Who will be your captain with Junior having a well earned rest?

of my 10 mids, 8 have the by.....

Ablett
Pendlez
Swan
Watson
Dangerfield
O'Meara
Gibbs
Crouch

then add another 6 players from the rest of my squad.

i've got 14 available players, and of that 14, 6 of them are questionable inclusions. i could potentially go in with 8 players this week. :? :(

Josh P. Kennedy.

Interesting draw for Sydney - two trips to Adelaide either side of a bye.

And 8 out of the top 10 ranked players (including the top 7) have the bye.

Will put the VC on someone from the friday night game. Cox, Franklin or J Kennedy (WCE), could even use Priddis or Birchall. LeCras won't get it.

My bigger issue then comes from who to put the C on if the VC spuds it, I don't really have a good option.
Hartlett, Vlastuin, Thurlow, Mitchell (Swans), Fyfe, Goodes (Bulldogs), Evans, Leuenburger, Monfries and Staker.

With only 16 playing (plus some of those above questionable), I doubt it will matter.

Might make a couple of trades to give myself a good option. Heath (port) and Macaffer both are due for a cut.
Macaffer to Bartell or Stevie J might be the way to go (assuming they are fwds)

Got a feeling Bartel might get another week off considering he went to USA. Bit like Harry Taylor heading to Bali a week before the bye. Hope im wrong though.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Yeah probably.

But if you do what everyone else does, your not going to win much. That being said, I was leading the Centrebet fantasy comp a month ago, and now have dropped 30 places, so maybe I am getting it all wrong with my trading.

I guess i'm hoping his game goes back to last years level. What other options do you suggest REB?

Two trades this week with Vlatsuin to Duffield and B Wilson in for Thurlow mainly for a bit of extra coin.

Then next week Goodes to Watson and Wines to Pendlebury and my side is done with 8 trades left

Personally I'd be keeping murphy with only 10 trades left, unless you have a real crutial game coming up that you need to win and think trading him will be the difference

I'd trade him down to either (hrovat, mitchell, martin) if you dont have them already and then trade back in murphy when his price bottoms out and your rooks price peaks (which should be in about 6-7 weeks)

Yeah its a tough one. I don't care about league games at all, going for overall, so every point counts. If I hang on and he takes a month to come good it could cost me several hundred points.

EDIT: Had a bit more of a look, if he is only missing one match I could prob bear it.

Team

Goddard, Gibbs, Hartlett. Birchall, Shaw, Vlaustin, (Thurlow, Wilson)
Ablett, Swan, Pendlebury, Boyd, JSelwood, Murphy, Swallow, Priddis (Mitchell, Colqhoun)
Cox, Kruezer, (Blicavs, Currie)
Johnson, Martin, JJK, Cloke, Franklin, Rockliff, (Staker, Rowe)
