16 PunknChump 1 5 11658 12140 96.03 4

The Roosters bounced back from an average round last week to top form as they smashed Ecky in the top of the table clash in Round 6 of Premier League action. The 229 point victory was quite the statement from the Chooks who remain the only unbeaten side in the league to date. Perennial Premier power Mediocre at Best is warming nicely to the task this year after Best pumped a suspect PunknChump who are starting to struggle in the top flight. It was a round of upsets as well. The REBCats have proven to be something of a bogey side for Hondo and 2024 the script repeated itself as my Swannies got the job done on the Sunday. Jobby has been a bit up and down but he had his finest game of the season this week to defeat HORNY who has been looking pretty sauve in recent weeks. It didn’t end there either; Summer of George was brilliant as they destroyed the Captain, The Willies got the jump on DAISY and Sharks also defeated Poon. FISH about the only clear favourite who got the job done against Sanctum who like Punky is fluffing their lines a bit at the moment. No more byes thank **** so all to play for.

16 Inner Sanctum 2 5 14065 14671 95.87 8

The Premier League showed their class on the weekend as the majority of the teams in the league went on a scoring binge, enough to lift the league rank to number 7 amongst the 16 team leagues. The Chooks’ golden season continued on for another week and they skipped two games clear of the pack after they scored a massive 2478 to skittle an unlucky Inner Sanctum who went to the foot of the ladder despite scoring 2303 themselves. As awesome as the Roosters were, it was Captain Who that successfully answered his own question to top the Hogg with 2489 in a stellar performance from Groover as his side squeaked by the unluckiest team of the season to date, Mediocre who scored 2442 and got rolled. You don’t have to be dead to be stiff. It’s hard to feel sorry for a bloke that’s won premier twice though. In terms of ladder position matches Hondo got a crucial result against Ecky while HORNY got the percentage builder after Poon phoned it in this week.

Reigning premier HORNY has stood up once again over the past three weeks and they are now head the league despite some stiff competition. They’ve proven very hard to beat over the past two seasons and once again Bertie has gotten the chocolates. Hondo was his latest victim and he’s now looking a vulnerable top eight side after the 9798ers started so well this season. With 40 trades a side draws might be more of a thing this year but so perhaps the result between Ecky and the Captain was not so surprising. What was more surprising was the relatively low score. Low scoring certainly did not concern the Roosters who are still crowing despite losing top spot, Poon Army who are on the march, Sharks who are going swimmingly and PunknChump who really rock. Everyone still in the hunt, we all remember what happened last time Mediocre propped up the ladder!
