Sad thing for me was early on I was trying and just couldn't get anything right! used too many trades and have had very little available for the past 4 or so games! how do you all get the time to get this right! I must be working too hard or something.

The successful coaches must spend a fair bit of time on this I believe. I don't even have time to use the captaincy loophole which in the end has cost me % and a spot in the top 8. Still have 7 Trades.....

That's my problem, it's a pain in the arse for me to log on if I'm not at work so I don't bother with the Friday night captain loopholes and I don't pay as much attention to it as I do dreamteam, at least on DT it tells you on screen who's playing or not.

Hogg Division IV Finals Week 1

Qualifying Finals

Wadey's Warriors 2530
RustyCage 2018

KnuckeysKillers 2480
Summer of George 2453

Elimination Finals
Chelsea FC 2530
Raging Hooligans 2290

PowerFailure 2203
DA HEAT 2186

KnuckeysKillers are laughing all the way to Division III after earning promotion for defeating the 'unbeatable' Summer of George and advancing to the Preliminary Final in a fortnight. Both teams scored heavily but Knuckeys killed it with a 27 point victory that has left Georgie boy scratching his head wondering where his toupee went. Things went according to script for Wadey's Warriors who smashed a suspect Rusty Cage by a massive 512 points. Wadeys Warriors will joining KnuckeysKillers in Division III next season.

In the knockout finals the standout team was Chelsea FC who scored 2530 even though he doesn't have time to play. Ah ha! So THAT'S the secret. Don't spend so much time on it. I didn't score 2500 this week LOL. Congrats to Lightning McQueen who smashed the Joker and Chelsea live to fight another day. If they can score that much I wouldn't wanting to face them in a Semi Final and it will be RustyCage who are in the gun there. In the other knockout final my lad Liam played against PowerFailure and he was let down badly by his captain Hannebery who didn't fire a shot at Geelong. PowerFailure are the league's survivors but I can't see them knocking out Georgie boy in straight sets next week.

Hogg Division IV Semi Finals

1st Semi Final
Chelsea FC 2338
RustyCage 2106

2nd Semi Final
Summer of George 2446
PowerFailure 2401

The door has slammed shut on the RustyCage Premiership winner as they failed to back up the premiership glory of 2014 against sterner opposition this season. Chelsea FC has come from the clouds and has done really well to qualify for Hogg Division III after looking like missing the eight for most of the season. In even better news for Chelsea they've dodged Wadeys Warriors and Summer of George and has a comparatively soft Prelim against Knuckeys Killers.

Summer of George duly won through to the 'group of death' Prelim Final match up against Wadey's Warriors. This prelim will be between the two outstanding teams of this Division but somebody forgot to tell Knuckeys who spoilt the party last weekend by cleaning up George. George had a narrow escape this week as well in a match where he might be expected to dominate but it's not Autumn just yet and the Summer of George is not over yet. It's been a solid season by PowerFailure who have failed by 46 points to gain promotion for the second year running.

Cheers, I haven't been able to access the supercoach website, the page is doing silly things and not displaying any info.

I'm a bit lucky, I'm pretty sure I had Hannebery as VC and Gunston as C using the loophole but went on a bender from lunchtime Saturday onwards and didn't put a decent captain on.

Cheers mate, I'm pretty stunned, I was shot and gave myself little chance of making the finals about 6 weeks ago, it's a funny game.

Hogg Division IV Preliminary Finals

1st Preliminary Final
Summer of George 2336
Wadey's Warriors 2329

2nd Preliminary Final
Chelsea FC 2303
KnuckeysKillers 2157

The two guns sides of Division IV ended up in the same half of the draw when KnuckeysKillers upset Summer of George in the Qualifying Final. In the end this turned out to be bad news for Minor Premier Wadey's Warriors who lost the prelim against George by a mere seven points. Both teams scored pretty well considering the carnage but it was Georgie Boy who were flying high at the end. It was only Wadey's third loss for the year so he must be kicking himself about missing the Granny about now.

Meanwhile, good old Lightning McQueen is pinching himself as he finds himself in the Grand Final. Chelsea hardly looked a finalist for most of the season but they have strung some brilliant form at the right end of the season to give themselves a crack at George in the Grand Final. Looking at the posts above it looked like the writing on the wall was up pretty early for Knuckeys.

Good luck to George and Chelsea in the Grand Final next week.
