I could add Tapscott on there but I didn't really think it affected me greatly.

Has anyone blacklisted or rainbowlisted any players forever after this season, I've done so in the past and Rawlings has joined this group for me now.
Thornton, Houlihan and Waite have previously killed me.

Shannon Hurn will struggle to get back into my teams again.

Both this season and last I have traded him in late in the season and he has let me down.

Used to be so consistent but suspension and injury prone. Never thought of ever having Thornton and Houlihan has barely played this year.

Hondo, as for Hurn, was tempted to take him as well. I'm not sure if I'm any better off still having Rawlings.

I am very tempted to play Liberatore on the field this week against Port. I can just see him tonning up. Don't know why......Ack!! What's wrong with me!!???

How are those trades going Hondo? Got enough to cover your 3 Geelong premiums on the bye this week? ;)

I'm pretty sure he stabbed me in the eye last season aswell. ROK was borderline for a guernsey this season for me, he's been pretty consistent though I must admit.

Had both these guys last season, they'd get a ton and then be dropped or rested for a couple of weeks, I know Houlahoops hardly played, I think BillyBob went alright though this season.

I have hatched a cunning little plan ;) to deal with at least one of those Geelong players without making me run short on players in the last 2 rounds.

I also have a plan that involves matching your key players like Ablett. That plan however exposes me later on.

Cut a long story short ... yes, it's a bad week to be missing 3 players but I am on the case !

Players i can remember that iv lost to injury/suspension:

Mundy, Sandilands, Shaw, Tapscott, Selwood (kept with him). Cant really remember if i had any others.

Two decisions that killed me early.

one - picking Taylor Walker
Two - trading yarran after round 2 instead of getting rid of walker.

I pulled the trigger on Savage the week he started sub against Port Adelaide.

I think I sold him $100,000 short of what he is now. Haha. IDIOT!!

In 2009 and 2010 I felt Pavlich let me down in the second half of the season through injury and poor scoring. On the other hand not having Chapman has killed me.

So this year I decided to get Chapman and not Pavlich. Frustratingly now the wheel has turned and Pavlich is the key player I don't have and Chappy is the underperforming premium I do have, doh!

Sometimes you can miss out if you get too caught up on what happened in prior years. Many got so burned by Malceski in 2009 that they didn't pick him in 2010 when he was a key player.

Not having Steve Johnson or Lance Franklin sh!ts me.
This week though, I'm hoping the Blues can negate Buddy, who I think averages 70-odd Dream Team against them, so that's a good sign.

I've avoided NDS all year too because of his inability to shake a tag but teams aren't tagging him this year. WTF??

Injury/suspension issues I've had to deal with:
Rioli, Mundy, Higgins, Grimes, Selwood, Adcock, Sandilands and to a lesser extent Tapscott and Matera.

Really lost momentum thanks to this and poor upgrade choices:

rn6 - J Roo (for Krackouer)
rn7 - Selwood (Higgins)
rn8 - Adcock (Grimes)
rn9 - Mundy (Swallow GC variety)
rn10 - Chapman (Knights)

Not getting Ablett also cost be big time.

My biggest blunder may cost me a spot in Div 2 for next season.

Last friday night 2 minutes before lockout i changed my captain from swan to pendles and lost my match by 2 points :(

Lesson 1) Once you have selected your team and captains- !@#$%^& leave it

I also got burnt by higgins (never again) and will live to regret choosing thompson when i had the cash to choose gablett.

Much looking forward to ridding this bye rubbish- hurry up 2012

For a couple seasons I stuck with Mundy and he was GARBAGE....this year I didnt get him and he started like a machine!!! Lucky though now with his injury that I dont have him.

Higgins is the one most talked about, and I can relate to that. So injury prone, and never has a stand out game. Seems to score 110-120 MAX, not the 140-170 the premiums will pull out when on, but his worst is horrible.

A few years ago I gambled on Ben Johnson from the Pies he was a great SC choice that year, I got him the following year and was tripe. Never again, and rightly so.

I bought JRoo at the bottom of his slump, and after a couple matches thought it was a masterstroke move, and I had a premium on my hands at a bargain price. Now, I have a dud who must have scored over 100 1-2 times out of the last 10 matches. Arrrrrr......

So last year I got burnt by Higgins, thinking he had gone a bit under the radar, but could play... he spudded up 2010.

2011 was Karmichael Hunt and Jake King. I thought Hunt would improve, and I'd upgrade him, but ended up being raped (sorry Patrick) by him, and trading him out late for 80K... Jake King is a great little player for the Tiges, but is a supercoach spud.

Rookies are gold early, as they generally increase quite a bit, but do not pick Majak Daw type players, who are not within a bulls roar of getting a guernsey- spend 20K more, and get a kid who IS going to play... Even thirty or forty late in the season is better than donuts...

2011 became the year rucks were again relevant. Instead of Cox and Sandy, we had Petrie kill the pig, Nic Nat did a bit, Max Bailey has strung some games together and gets a reasonable score...

AND... Am never playing the "this guy is against a weak opposition" card with my Captain... Scott Thompson (the Kangaroo) and Chris Knights were tripe when I put the big C on them...

No offence Parky, but Chris Knights as captain is the biggest crime to SC I have ever heard of. Relinquish your coaching badge now.
