St Nick - NOW I'm worried

Postby Rik E Boy » Sun May 01, 2011 11:04 am

It's just a little dirty, it's still good it's still good.....

Or is it? Proven SC gun St Nick scored a shambolic 47 which wouldn't be so bad if he had racked up a couple of his big 140 plus scores from past seasons - but he hasn't. Now I've got a real problem here. Do I hang on to this polished spud or risk the dreaded sideways trade.

St Kilda suck!

Sideways trade to who???

Not much on offer up forward from so-called premiums. I'll hold him and use my trades for upgrades.

I'm getting rid of him and bringing in Jack and then I will have enough coin to get rid of Hille and get Cox back.

No he has done it for me out for May free up some cash to get a real premium now, instead of spudding along for weeks and Krakouer to go as well to inconsistent.

I think Riewoldt has to be held. His scores are disappointing so far but he is an established SC stud so patience is needed. I went through similar with Buddy in 2009. Eventually they come good. The SC gods will get you if you trade him now and he will start scoring again.

That said, I don't know what is up with St Kilda.

Their (and his problem) is that they are usually so slow in moving the ball to him that the defending side can cover him more easily.
I was almost expecting Lyon to shift him to a wing, just to get him into the game.

Will probably keep him, as it's almost panic stations with the Saints, they need to make changes or they won't make the finals (or will barely).
No Hayes is killing them -he's as important as Riewoldt and Goddard.

Hayes is so important to them, it is like the Adelaide teams the year after they each lost a James brother. Everyone is watching no one is getting it out.

Monday real keen to get rid of him but chickened out after the week of research. Just the basic Duigan downgrade and still able to get a midfielder POD I was after! However, now I need to cash in on the cows over the next few weeks to get the other 4 upgrades.
I hope I do not regret the first reaction!
