They're coming again!

August 6. Tickets on sale next Thursday.

Value for money gig - they'll play for three hours.

I did the down and back trick for the last gig - and it was awesome. Amazing show.

I know it's not for everyone, but for the devoted fans, it'll be a ripper night.

And no I know I won't be wearing black or eyeshadow (although I might've in the past  )

Saw them in 92 and they were awesome. That seems like yesterday - man, could that really have been 15 years ago? They were 'old' then! Think I'll go this time too.

Saw them in 81 and 92. Both gigs were great probably prefered 81 as it wasn't at the entertainment centre and I prefer their early stuff. Having said that they were awesome in 92 (I just couldn't see them).

The best thing about the 92 show was after being told off by security for standing up and dancing, our group of friends physically moved a couple of rows of chairs and made our own dance floor much to the horrified look of the security goons.

In 81 did they not play at the Arkaba?

Saw them at Ent Cent last time they were.

Wonderful gig, value for money.

Nice to hear some of their more poppier stuff this time around though.

$120 for General Admission this time around. Far out, that will test a few hardcore fans... Internet presale has been on since yesterday.

sunday mail ad said new tickets were being released but I don't see any that are cheaper...anybody else? Too expensive for me sadly....would love to go though

At that price i'm tipping a VERY small crowd :(

Awesome show. Plenty of people there. Great atmosphere. Wonderful performance covering everything from the swirly edgy and dark guitar rock, to the deep Goth stuff and into the pop classics. Three hour show. Robert Smith was engaging even if barely speaking - a small amount of patter was worth waiting for.

Interesting things I noted - I'm not exactly tall, but unlike other gigs I've been to lately there were no huge tall people around, I was actually looking over the heads of people. Very unusual for me.

And also, a noticeable lack of cameras and mobile phones being held up to record the show. There were some, but were in a minority, which made it an even more enjoyable event.

Was also good to hear an early 90s Ride track in the music played before The Cure hit the stage.
