Frank Zappa on SBS

Postby Interceptor » Sat Apr 21, 2007 1:14 pm

Just noticed that SBS have Frank Zappa on tonight (10:10 pm) as part of the Classic Album series.
This episode features 'Over-nite Sensation' (1973) and 'Apostrophe' (1974).

Should be pretty interesting viewing.

Didn't know it was on.
Thanks for the heads-up Interceptor. :supz:
'Classic Albums' is a terrific and under rated series.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

At Jb Hifi they have quite a few of these Episodes on sale for $10 each. Well worth having these as there are in most cases extras that didin't make the original broadcast. Particular note is Queen's A Night at the Opera. It comes with a bonus DVD with the album presented in 5.1 sound with footage shown for each song.

Next time I am in Oz, I'll have to look in to that shop. Excuse my ignorance, but where is "Jb Hifi"?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
