lol, agreed.
Weirdly enough, I liked Split Enz but hated Crowded House's work, so boring and goddamn awful. I was a stoked man the day they broke up, and now they go and do this to me.

I'm more Crowed House then Split Enz myself.

Seems they've only been split up a little longer than the mini-league competition.

FWIW I rate Crowded House very highly. Great band!

World Tour?....FFS Australia and NZ doenst count as a world tour!!!!

Crowded House....ordinary

one thing I hate, even bands I used to like, is bands reuniting and touring again, a blantant cash grab thats all, no other reason, will never be as good as they were....bands and singers dont seem to have used by dates, but they really really should...

Are they gonna do it as an Aussie or Kiwi based reality show
aka Rockstar INXS or Rockstar Supernova? :?

I'll flick over to the Cartoon Network's Aqua Teen Hunger Force or The Brak Show anyway!

I don't think they are going to do a Rock Star tv show thing like INXS or Supanova.

Good news, although I'm an obsessive Split Enz fan from way back.

Any Split Enz fans might like to know that Tim Finn's latest album "Imaginary Kingdom" is comfortably his best work.

This news brightened all of last week. I understand why some people may not like them, but they remain my favorite Aust/NZ band of all time. Always regretted never seeing them live. I'm still not sure how it will be without Paul in the line-up, that will be Neil's biggest test - finding someone who could play their songs as well, and have that flexibility.

To be able to hear "Four Seasons In One Day" (one of my all time most beautiful songs), "I Feel Possessed", "Sister Madly", "Don't Dream It's Over", "Private Universe", "Fall At Your Feet" live again...it is going to be fantastic. I really cannot wait! (provided he resists the temptation to bring Tim Finn back in. Didn't particularly add to things, although "Chocolate Cake" really grew on me over the years)

I'll reserve judgment on the new album at this stage, but realistically, very hard to see Neil Finn writing an album that doesn't add to the legend.

All great songs. I saw them live with Tim Finn at the Old Lion at the time it wasn't working with Tim in the line-up, but Neil and Tim together have put out some great stuff (eg: "Finn" album, etc.). Talking about resisting the temptation to bring back Tim, I think "Into Temptation" is one of Crowded House's best songs.

Neil is always excellent, whereas Tim's worst can be pretty ordinary, but his best is terrific. His latest album is fantastic.
