(an 80's) What the....?

The Housemartins were an awesome band though - it's just a shame they got pigeonholed with that song, which was tongue in cheek anyway. If you've followed Paul Heaton's career from then until the Beautiful South, you'll come to understand his dry sense of humour. Their best of 'Now That's What I Call Quite Good' is on regular rotation at Chateau Zipzap. 'Build' is one of my all time favourite songs. And of course a certain Norman Cook went on to become quite famous in another guise ;)

At the 50 second mark of the clip when the band stand up in time with the lyrics he is the one in the front pew.

Liked the cover of the Isley Brothers' tune 'Caravan of Love' that they did in about '87.

Caravan of love is one of the truley great 80's songs, unfortunately with my dozens of 80's CD's it doesnt feature on any of them, id love to get a copy from somewhere...that and Star Trekkin..
