No Pixies - No Leaping Lindner.
Still mightn't be an issue this year in Melbourne. They still haven't found a venue.

Its back where it was last year for Melbourne after a council meeting last week. Princess Park I think? Then Flemington in 2008.

Once is more than enough - saw them with Split Enz, shit they're terrible.
$115 a ticket!
No Guns N' Roses as rumoured - that would have been cool!

If you've heard the new album, no, it's not cool..

I have got it Booney - it is very different to their first album. I haven't worked out whether it is good or not as yet, it may need time to grow on me. It is certainly listenable though.
Also have the other big follow-up album by The Killers as well. This is a great album and backs up their first effort well.

The line up would wanna improve with the second and third announcements. So far I would go out of my way to see Muse and the Spazzys. Dont mind some of the Killers stuff, but there would wanna be some more good international stuff. Also lots of good Aussie bands will probably join the list. Frenzal Rhomb have a new album out, and they need no excuse to join the BDO!

I'm curious what is Jet's new CD called? Is it "Definitely Maybe" or "What's the story morning glory?".

Probably the most unimpressive first announcement...probably ever. Not to mention if they are $115.
Tools the only band that makes me think its worth it. Gonna need some big names in the 2nd announcement to get me along.
