I have started to really enjoy accoustic versions of songs, any genre, any artist and have found myself listening to more and more on youtube. Just wondering if anyone has any accoustic favourites? songs or artists.

Absolutely love acoustic versions of songs...

Especially a song that originally was loud and aggressive, performed by the artist in a stripped back acoustic version... Love it..

Here's one of my favourites...

The acoustic version of Everlong (Foo Fighters) is awesome IMO. Also "Replace You" by Silverstein is a great acoustic version. Alice in Chains "Jar of Flies" EP is hard to beat for 7 songs acoustically done....

On YouTube look up Paul Dempsey Shotgun Karaoke. Just him in a dressing room with a guitar and some bloke holding a camera. He does a great version of Berlin Chair from backstage at the Gov.

Chris Cornell can sing anything IMO and make it sound great,
He even covered Whitney Houston when she passed and nailed it!

It took me a while to warm to Chris Cornell's voice, not sure why but it did. Now I see him as having one of the greatest rock voices I've ever heard...

Saw Chris Cornell on his Songbook Tour at the Palais in Melbourne in 2011, brilliant! His cover of A day in the Life was the highlight

Beat me to it!
I would've had your second song first, the ultimate acoustic guitar piece.
Should add:
Going to California
Battle of Evermore
Poor Tom
EDIT:
just remembered: "Black Country Woman".
