Ray who played the keyboard has passed away, a sad day in music.

This one saddens me immensely being a huge Doors fan, some of his musicianship was astounding.

I agree - for all the publicity Jim Morrison got I felt mainstream music media never paid the dues that Ray was owed re the success of the Doors music. Not sure there has been anyone who can compare to Ray Manzarek - RIP.

This Friday night rage will pay tribute to the inimitable Ray Manzarek of The Doors.

To celebrate the master keyboardists life and work we will of course be playing the classic music of The Doors, but we’ve also delved deep into the rage archives to find a vintage rage hosting with Ray and The Doors’ manager, Danny Sugerman.
