Favourite Album by Band

Postby RustyCage » Wed Apr 10, 2013 5:17 pm

Discussing the upcoming You Am I tour, it got me thinking of how people can love a band but all have a different opinion on what their best album is. There are a lot of people who have a similar taste in music here, so it would be interesting to see what other people come up with

for mine:

Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Megadeth - So Far, So Good, So What
Anthrax - Persistence of Time
Foo Fighters - Colour and the Shape
You Am I - HiFi Way
Pennywise - Reason to Believe
Frenzal Rhomb - Smoko at the Pet Food Factory
Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
Grinspoon - Guide to Better Living
Millencolin - Pennybridge Pioneers
Muse - Origin of Symmetry
NOFX - Coaster
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
The Living End - The Living End
The Superjesus - Sumo
TISM - Great Trucking Songs of the Renaissance
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Dude, great topic. Give me a few moments, and I'll do mine.

Do you mean favourite album by the bands you picked, or our own picks?

In any case, I'll do both.

Cheers mate! Have you come up with a list yet?

I remember having nothing but cassettes as a kid, so I asked my mum to buy me Insomniac for Christmas. Mum ended up getting me Dookie instead, and a mini hi-fi for my bedroom. But I always preferred Insomniac.

Sure is, I love it. Doesn't get the credit it deserves I reckon, seems as though it's not as popular as Rage Against the Machine or The Battle of Los Angeles and from my view I think alot of people obviously know RATM but I don't think people know Evil Empire that well.
