My son's band, Down With The Ship has started playing a few gigs after nearly 12 months of getting their shit together.
A few weeks ago they played their 1st gig at the Cranka, last week they played at Black Market.

Personally I thought their lead singer let them down, a bloke (allegedly) with a really sissy chicks voice, earlier this week some others finally agreed and they parted company with him (?)

Last night I heard them rehearsing with their new singer and even with a shitty amp he sounded heaps better

They have a few more gigs locked in at the moment,

Sunday March 24th (All Ages) Nexus Arts Centre with Just Like Clockwork , Way With Words (Vic), Seven Nights Alone & Ricco Garilli

Thursday March 28th (night before Good Friday) (18+) they are at Shotz with Hollow Eyes, Doc Oc & McKenzie

Friday 5th April they will be at the Shaddows Entertainment Complex, Mt Gambier with Left For Wolves (Vic), Dead Joe, Visions & Pridelands

Hey Ian, that's heaps good that you're supportive of your son's band.

I might have to come out and have a look, maybe catch up with you for a beer at one of these shows.

I wont get to all of them but I'll let you know if I do go, my son is the drummer, the last 5 years of practice annoying the crap out of the neighbours is finally coming to a good use

Is this the gig with Just Like Clockwork (formerly Capulet)? My mates the guitarist for them.
