When I saw band @ footy club I thought it was a typo, figured it was Centurion and wasn't one bit surprised.

I was going to book a cover band for a gig that I put on recently, but then I suddenly remembered
COVER BANDS SUCK and put on a band that can actually write music as well as play it.

I know where you are coming from LL, I'd prefer to hear a original local band play, but for a footy club show, they will never get all of the crowd in like a good cover band, 90% of people only want to hear what they already know.

Most bands that play originals suck also.
