Mental as Anything

Mental as Anything are coming to Lincoln next month, and a mate is trying to get me to go.

In 24 years of life I have never gone to live music.

Tickets just over $100...

Are these guys worth it?

I vaguely remember having heard of them...

What BC said. You'd normally pay about $30 to see a band like them even if the nips are getting bigger.

Went to see them at the Highlander last year, would have paid $15 to get in (except I got free tickets)

Show wasnt too bad actually and Martin Plaza sang Concrete and Clay which made me happy, I love that song

Yep paid $20 to see them last year at the Louisiana tavern in Elizabeth.

If the lead singer wears those pants, it will be worth it.

Share travel/fuel costs and put ya $100 towards a half day fishing charter. Far better value for money... ;)

Whilst agreeing that $100 for the Mentals is far too much, if you've never been to a live gig, why not live a little?

I've probably paid overs to see bands over the years, typically ones I like and want to see, but as a live music fan I'd suggest getting into it.

Another $100 for out of date Tooheys and you're in for a cracking night. ;)

Good call Booney. :D

Have confirmed that tickets are $95, there is a cover band (plays for free at a different local pub each friday night), and covers zero piss.

Didn't look for food, but I'd be bloody well hoping so...

Saw them at the sundowner whyalla about 10 years ago, worst live band on earth. I hope they've learnt to mime since then. Sit up the back of the room so you don't notice.
