whos gonna go?
have ya got your tickets yet?
Do you think its worth the money they are charging?

Im going.
Got my ticket yesterday in a pre release sale, payed $200 (believe they come out for $150 thursday but would rather pay the extra $50 then miss out), as it was, was hard enough to get these tickets.

$200 is alot but Hilltops and Lil Wayne are supporting. There not my favourite rappers but still will put on a good show I believe.

More then anything this is a once in a life time oppurtunity to see the best white rapper ever, dont think he will ever come back to Aus

They were $170ea - this included some kind of $20 'pre-sale' charge or similar.

They were more than prepared to pay the extra $20 because they didn't want to miss out.

Now they are poised for the Melbourne 'pre' release at 12noon.

More money than sense !!

But oh to be young again I suppose - and the ability/fun of it all to fly interstate for a concert and then on a plane to another state for the same concert..lol.

I just said - well lets hope the concert isnt shit

As mentioned above - A Daughter went to both the Melbourne show and the Sydney Show.

She said the Melbourne one was awesome - so while originally they contimplated selling their Sydney tickets - there was no way as they enjoyed the Melbourne one so much that they definitely wanted to see him again - so off they went to the Sydney one.

She said it was good but the sound didn't work too good.

Well now apparantly there's a big 'hoo ha' about people should be getting their money back - and massive amounts of complaints and apparantly some people even leaving after 45mins as they couldn't hear a thing. People spending thousands on tickets/accomodation etc, etc who had come from afar.

A Daughter said that where they were wasn't toooo bad but the vocals did cut in and out.

Did anyone here go to the Sydney concerts?
(Aparantly both Sydney shows had bad sound problems)
Or have you heard anything from friends about the sound problem?

Can't see them refunding everyone's money - or even part there of.
Not even sure who is to be held accountable.

Interesting stuff...lol

i went to the Melbourne concert and it was difficult to hear him actually sing... i put it down to the crowd screaming and yelling and singing along, was kind of disappointed cos it took me a bit into the song to realise what he was playing!
Overall though it was a great trip, had a great night and drank aloooooooooot of alcohol, which could also be part of the reason i coudlnt hear properly lol

LOL Cossi O:)
Well in the Melbourne case I think it could have just been the fans etc, but Sydney was a shocker apparantly..lol.

It was held at Sydney Football Stadium pafc1870.

The office of fair trading has been brought into it.

I went to the melbourne one and had a great time.
I agree with you a bit cossi on it being hard to hear, had to put it down to the crowd being so loud though.
I took a video of one of the songs and you could hear him clear as, so think it was just me being drunk and the music being muffled as Im short lol.

Thats a shame the sydney one was a let down!

One thing I was really pleased was how quick you could get your drinks. Was no where near as bad as I expected it to be.
