Being shown this Sunday night on Channel 9 at 8:30pm:
Can you imagine if all two-thousand punters who made their way to Cockatoo Island for All Tomorrow’s Parties had been attacked by a flesh-eating virus, with no means of escape?! Well, some very savvy television producers at Channel Nine sure can, and this Sunday you will be able to get a glimpse of how this scenario may have played out when the tele-movie Panic At Rock Island hits our screens.
The “high concept thriller” features cameos from You Am I and Spiderbait, and judging from the trailer looks likes a cross between Garage Days and Shaun Of The Dead.
A synopsis of the TV show which stars Vince Collosimo and Grant Bowler reads as follows: “In the middle of a the beautiful harbour of Sydney, on the eve of the biggest public live music party on the city’s calendar, a body is discovered ravaged by an mysterious contagion and Chief Medical Examiner Jim immediately appeals for quarantine. But the party’s too important to the city’s coffers and Jim’s fears spiral out of control when he learns that his children Elmo and Nina are both at the event.”

Just miming a couple of their own songs at the mock festival and a little mock interview with Tim Rogers too.
I was under the impression they were going to have more involvement in the movie.
