I have this one, barely used and only takes up the space of an entire lounge room. You can have it for free if you dismantle it and move it yourself.

Being a avid vinyl record collector, I purchased a Sherwood Dek-7u at Jb - Hi this year. (around $240) It has a built in USB drive so you can convert all your vinyl.

Great little unit and very happy with it. :D

Once you've purchased it....maintaining?

Also Southee...I've got a shedload of vinyl that is in poor condition. It was given to me after being stored for ages. What's the best way to clear dust from the LPs and will they work once it's done?

I don't know why I am giving you advice here mal, because you will just go and buy an apple turntable. ;)

I have one of these

Entry level turntable, but well built and sounds great.

Dogwatcher, if you have heaps and heaps of vinyl that you want to listen to, you should buy a vinyl cleaning machine. I know there is a guy in New Zealand who makes them at a decent price. Plenty of good reviews. If you are selling them, you can buy some Record Revirginisor. Its a liquid you wash vinyl in.

Long live vinyl.

Dogwatcher, try this guy.....he will be at the Vinyl Palooza record fair over the weekend at Christian Bros College in the city.

Great little company that I buy products from. I used the Anti Static record fluid and it worked a treat. They are pretty well priced too.

I am seeing him this weekend due to someone on Monday(wife cleaning, little fingers etc...) wreaking my stylus needle.

I am completely pedantic with my collection. Keep them all in covers, alphabetical order, sitting upright etc.....

Nothing like sitting back with vinyl .....studying the covers....I go into my little other world :D
