Am old enough to remember that good song he did with Jackson Browne a bit over 20 years ago although I admit to not knowing he was in the Boss' band 'til much later on.

BUMP.

Been watching a bit of Springsteen's later stuff and I think the fact he now has an entire 5 piece brass section in Clarence's place is a great way to say no one person could ever replace the big man. Springtsteen still as good as ever live, he was the first concert I ever saw in the mid 80s in Melbourne, hope to get to see him again one day. Love the Wrecking Ball album, some of the Irish influenced stuff is great.

Didn't he use a brass section on his earlier works?
I think on the 75-85 Live 3 CD he had a heap of horns*. As I remember he introduces them, "The Miami Horns,Ladies and Gentleman,The Miami Horns".

Yeah, now and then, seems to be a full time thing now to replace Clarence though.
