RIP Ian List

Just found out the very sad news that Adelaide guitarist Ian List passed away yesterday after suffering a heart attack. Ian was a member of a few bands around town over the years ,but most notably The Dagoes,The Spikes and the UVs.
I first saw him play live back in the early 80s and saw him many more times during that decade. I got to know Ian - the person - when he worked out at Big Star's Magill Road store in the early 90's, and we spent many hours chatting away about everything under the sun, but mostly music.
RIP Ian. The Adelaide Music Scene is forever grateful for your input.

That is very sad news - I also got chatting to him a lot at Big Star over the years. Deepest sympathies to the family.
