Worst Music Video

Following on from the thread of the Greatest Music Video, what are some of the howlers out there?

People who know me will be astonished by this choice of mine, but the final single released by Little River Band in their "classic" lineup, from the Get Lucky album, the title track, was just a horror. If I can find it on YouTube, I'll put it up here so others can judge. It's a Western theme, which culminates in a hat flying upwards from Glenn Shorrock's head, after he puts his foot in a bucket and stumbles around a bar.

The chick with the shaved head crying is pretty bad.
Is it Sinead O'Connor - Nothing compares to you

Fortunately, this is the shortened version, missing a couple of the original "gems". Apparently the band was only Glenn Shorrock and Wayne Nelson according to the video :?

It pains me deeply to say this about a band that is my favorite Australian band ever, but I've just realised - they made some horror videos  (I know this is supposed to be a send up but....wow)

Oh boy....words can't describe this...apart from....80's.

This is...compelling. Compellingly awful

I've always liked this song, but never understood what possessed Billy Joel to make this

Somehow, two legends of music combine to make...something strange. The fashion on its own is bad enough:

Time to weigh in on this thread...

This one just screams out AMATEUR:

Some really good music videos were essentially concert footage. But not at a frickin' SHOPPING MALL fer crying out loud!

And frankly ANYTHING featuring video footage of Divine has to be considered offensive to the senses:

So many awful videos these days.

Especially big artists.

Big budgets, big production values, big disasters.

Nearly everyone else goes for the standard performance video.

Banal beyond belief...

Humph. Not the first time that AdelaideNow has ripped an idea for an article from This August Forum.

I notice that the author of the linked article is male, yet has listed Sabrina's "Boys" among the worst videos. Having so blatantly come out of the closet, in his next article he might like to address his daily struggle as a gay man in modern Australian society.

Pseudo you addressed this more eloquently than I ever could've myself. I read the article, and my initial thoughts were something that started with P and ended in OOF.

As much as I love Metallica, this film clip is a shocker. It is what happens when a band is encouraged by the record company to hand over all creative control of their film clip to some film director.

More surprising, because I didn't know he had anything else apart from Ice Ice Baby and Play That Funky Music, but this is bad....

I know someone out there will say this can't be included, but - it's not good, no matter how catchy the song can be at times:

Overblown, but the alternative version I have posted underneath is a good laugh:

Same as the Literal version - a send up of "Love Is A Battlefield"

It should be ineligible if it's meant to be bad.

It looks like a Carny has invaded the set of Antiques Roadshow:

Good song by an underrated artist, but you start watching the background rather than listening to the song - and can't watch it for long:

The song is bad enough - and then you see this. The characters in white look like....well, you can see them:
