One for the videos that help sum up an era/style/band better than most. Post away with any videos that sum up things perfectly.

Talking of 80's "hair bands"...(love the high kicks and sliding - 1.31 to 1.50)

Van Halen - one of the definitive 80's songs:

About as 70's as they come, on a few levels...such as incredibly daggy....

Talking of 70's.....

The late 1960's - can't say much more than this...

Couple from the 80s that, most likely, still get a good run at 80's parties:

Couple from the 90's that will be very familiar:

...plus a couple from the 80's most of us blokes had more than the odd look at, at the time

Correct weight leftlegger, that is indeed a young Nicole Kidman.

For bonus points, name the "personality" which the bloke in the following clip evolved into:

80's Australia:

One for Psuedo :)

Re-released from "Liveline" in the 80s (and safe for work)

An INXS song I never get tired of:

I like your work CK... but just for the record, that video was not a product of the '80s. It was put together some years after the fact (as documented on The Essential GANGgajang DVD. Yes, I own it). Back in the '80s the only video of that song was the footage from Rock Arena:

Incidentally I like that live version better than the studio cut.

'Sounds of Then' v 'This is Australia'.

One of the more memorable debates on this forum...
