Anyone going along Friday night? Convicts is a good return to form album. Hopefully Tim Rogers can get out to a Sturt game.

You might be thinking of The Whitlams and Tim Freedman.

CA - what new songs did YAI play? Can you give a rough idea of the set list?

Will be there tonight. The best live band going 'round. Seen them 4 or 5 times including at Magic Millions a few years ago where they were giving out free beer to the 30 odd people that were there. Interesting stuff CA! Good to see they've got fruit in their diet.

Did anyone go to the gig Fri or Sat night? What did you think? It was strange on Sat night - obviously a few things going on and he understandably didn't want to be there. Thought he was gonna punch a few people in the crowd. Still a good gig though!

Friday night was a bit the same, not really sure what the problem was. Obviously still a lot of emotional problems in his life which have been well documented. I think at the end of the day with personality like his you can't live your life for as long as he has with so much alcohol and drugs without it catching up with you at some time and obviously messing with your head.

Having said all that it was a great gig, 3 or 4 songs played off most of the albums except number 6. Over the years I have seen 100's of bands from here and overseas and I'm sure others have seen more than that but You Am I are still the tightest going around. Well rehearsed yes, but just great musicians. As always they never disappoint.
