U2 are touring Australia with their 360 degree show, but it seems Adelaide is to miss out.
This is a body blow to U2 fans who will now have to find something else to spend their hard earned $245 on. $245 WTF???

I didn't lose too much sleep over it. I thought I read somewhere that tickets were as low as $30 for the Melbourne show though?

A mate of mine just got his ticket and it cost him $245. It's at Docklands so there might be cheaper tickets the further from stage you are. The $30 tickets would be in Footscray I'd think
I'm actually disturbed that a good friend of mine has paid $245 to see these half-back flankers.

Went to their last show here at Footy Park a few years back and it was pretty underwhelming, probably the worst show I've been to in fact. Absolutely no atmosphere, and the try-hard 'save the world' scheize was an absolute bore.

However I saw them at Wembley for the "Pop Mart" tour, and they were very good.

Agreed. and I'm not a particularly huge U2 fan either - but was working at this show - needless to say I didn't stay until the end, glad I didn't pay to see it

big U2 fan but gotta agree the last concert wasnt great. still remember in my late teens seeing them play at memorial drive joshua tree and rattle and hum tour. now that was a fantastic concert.

I dont mind U2, paid to watch them last time because I saw them at the time as a band that would be awesome to see once. wasnt really happy at all. Would not go again if they came here anyway.

Agreed. Both times I've since seen them at Footy Park since I've not enjoyed it. Never again. But I did hear this time round tickets were around $35 - although I bet they have premium options for those who actually want to see anything.

Totally agree Ginger.....the crowd was "dead". No wonder they did not come back to Adelaide!!!

The holding up the mobile phone and texting a number to save a child in Africa and the unjustice in the world was a total wa*k!!!

Hightlight of he show was watching Kaye West do his GOD preaching to the crowd.......it was comedy GOLD!!! What a tool!!

It's a bit hard to take a guy seriously that talks of ending world poverty, but is happy to take $245 off his fans.

I got a seat for $40 for tomorrows gig at the Docklands,
Can't imagine any other acts of this stature offering tix at this price
